Story
Jax is a super loyal, energetic, and loving dog! He loves going on walks and playing fetch for as long as you can handle! He is six years old. He is looking to go to a loving single pet home with a family that has as much energy as he does. He can get anxious and go after our cats or other dog. He currently lives with another medium size dog and two cats that he loves to play with. We have two small children and can’t risk another attack.

These pups are in Alpharetta, Georgia too!

Story
Meet Lily, a 4.5-year-old, 80 pound, lap dog. She's part German Shepherd and part Love Bulldozer. With her exuberant and affectionate personality, Lily will make you feel like the most important person in the world. She’s a moderate-energy dog who enjoys both roughhousing and cozy snuggles on the couch. Lily is at her best when she has both exercise and mental stimulation. Lily is fully house-trained and adores people of all sizes, but she would thrive in a home with older kids who can handle her playful, sometimes overly energetic, behavior. She’s great with other dogs when introduced slowly and carefully, but she’s untested with cats. While Lily takes a bit of time to warm up to new people, once she trusts you, you're golden! Lily is still perfecting her playtime manners and is learning when it's time to pause and relax. She’s a fan of bones, stuffies, and treats, making her training sessions enjoyable. Though she’s not fond of the crate, she can be trusted to be left alone in a room or basement with a Kong or chew toy for a few hours. Lily needs a home with a strong, experienced handler who understands German Shepherd traits and will be patient while she works on her reactivity. She would do best in a quieter home with fewer visitors. If you’re looking for a devoted, affectionate companion who will be your steadfast friend, Lily might just be your perfect match! Story
Single white female looking to spend the rest of her life with a forever true love. Might that be you? This four-year-old beauty is Gentle Spirit, and her name truly befits this sweet, gentle soul.  She came into foster care the day before she was to be euthanized, a shy, timid girl who was also heartworm positive. With heartworm treatment now a memory and declared heartworm-free, she is ready to go to her forever home to be a beloved companion. She is now a healthy 75 pounds. Spirit is a docile, quiet girl with a goofy, playful side. She has learned how to be a "dog" and has learned how to play with smaller dogs in her foster home. It does take her a while to warm up to strange dogs, so she would need long and slow introductions if there is another dog in the home, but another friendly dog, more on the calm, stable side yet still likes to play a little bit might help her continue in her development. Spirit walks pretty well on leash, and she does ok on car rides, particularly the outings to Starbucks or Bruster's where she gets yummy treats. She is not fond of a crate after spending so much time confined to one during her HW treatment, but she has started to take refuge in one when the big thunderstorms come around. She is house-trained and sleeps loose in the bedroom with her foster family. Being the velcro girl she is, she would probably like a home where she is not left alone for long periods; she makes a great home officemate and is excellent on those virtual meetings as she never makes a peep.  She loves quietly being in the middle of things with her people.  She has learned to respect the cat in her foster home, who is very calm around dogs; if the cat does run, she will chase but not harm. She also likes to chase birds and squirrels in the backyard, so a fenced yard would be best. She is initially cautious of strangers but does warm up quickly; treats always help speed that process. She has not been exposed to children in her foster home, but she would probably be fine with older children (10+ years old). She is now a healthy 75 pounds. Her foster grandpa says she will make a wonderful family member for someone.     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms    Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Story
Hello, Coco was born in a litter of 4 on a blueberry farm sometime around April 25th, 2024. From her litter, she had the calmer nature. Coco has been in our home for almost three weeks, she does great with our elementary aged kids and with the dogs with have briefly met as well. She loves her chewing toys and chewing treats except chicken flavored. She likes the visits to a dog park, belly rubs, and to be outside. She is learning to be a good partner on the leash. As of now, Coco learned to ring a bell when she needs to go out for water, and for potty 90%. She is 100% crate trained; this is her comfort zone. Coco can be an amazing addition to a family, and we want nothing more for her than to find a loving forever home.
