Story
🎉🐾 Hey there, future family! I'm Pete Meat, the 6-month-old brindle puppy with a personality as unique as my name! Weighing in at 28 pounds, I'm a possible Dutch Shepherd/Pit Bull mix, but with rescue, it’s always a fun guessing game. What really matters is that I'm absolutely adorable! https://youtu.be/0H-FvlftVko I'm a confident and independent little explorer who's always ready for the next big adventure. Walks, hikes, and sniffing out new territories are my jam. I'm potty trained, a crate enthusiast, and already a pro at leash walking! My new favorite game is fetch, and I can't get enough of it! 🎾 With my playful spirit, sweet snuggles, and curious nature, my daily motto is "eat, sleep, play, repeat!" I'm looking for a family who will love on me, make me a part of the family, and... throw the ball for me! 🌟🐶💖 Pete is still young and needs a family dedicated to his training and socialization, ensuring he grows into a well-mannered adult dog. His new family will need to continue with potty 🚽 and crate training 🏠 and provide daily exercise. 💪 We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When he's old enough, Pete will be perfect for leisurely walks, hikes, or showing off around the neighborhood. 🚶‍♂️✨ With his friendly spirit, Pete would make a great friend to any dogs 🐕, cats 🐈, or kids 👶 with proper introductions. If you're looking for a playful, sun-loving companion who’s ready to join you on all your adventures, Pete is your perfect match! 🐶❤️ Apply to adopt Pete today and let the fun begin! 🎊🐕 If you want a quirky, adventurous buddy, Im is your guy!!! Apply to adopt him today and let the adventures begin! Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $825.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Raya is available for adoption in TX, PNW and NE (excluding MA) Meet Raya: The Adventurous and Playful Explorer! Introducing Raya, a 16-week-old Shepherd/Akita mix who is as adventurous as she is lovable. As the largest of her three siblings, Raya is always the first to check everything out and loves to be in the middle of all the action. Weighing in with a big heart and an even bigger personality, Raya is the perfect mix of curiosity and charm. Raya and her siblings are crate trained and nearly potty trained, showing just how smart and adaptable they are. They have no accidents in their crate and rarely any in the house. Raya, like her sisters, has a hilarious habit of drinking water with her whole body-a delightful quirk that's especially handy in warm weather. This intelligent pup learns quickly and is eager to please. She plays wonderfully with the rest of the pack and knows when to step back and give the bigger dogs their space. Raya has a special love for ice cubes and anything that squeaks, always ready for some fun and games. Raya is looking for a forever home where she can continue to explore and be the center of attention. She needs a family that will appreciate her adventurous spirit, intelligence, and playful nature. Story
Lady Bird is a rare dog who is easy on a leash, knows many commands & loves giving & receiving affection. Her previous owner describes her as a cuddly pup who loves to be the center of your world! Once upon a time, she got along with other animals but as she's aged, she's become unpredictable with other dogs in her home unprovoked. We are looking for a home where she can be the only pet because without other animals around, she's VERY predictable & sweet. She doesn't have issues with taking walks in the neighborhood...it just might mean that she gets protective of her space. She loves constant attention, being outside in the yard sunbathing, & loves going on walks. Linda loves to travel & will sit perfectly still in the backseat of the vehicle. She adores soft couches & beds to snuggle on!

Story
Meet Zorro, a charming 6-year-old brindle shepherd mix weighing 47 pounds, currently looking for his forever home. With his big, endearing head and ears, soft short coat, and striking brindle coloring, Zorro is a true standout. He's a well-mannered fellow, house and crate trained, and enjoys the company of anyone willing to offer pets and scratches. He's been acquainted with dogs ranging from 10 to 60 pounds and seems to ignore cats altogether. His interactions with other animals like horses, pigs, and chickens have gone well and he is not interested in them. Zorro's ideal home would be in a suburban or rural setting with a decent area where he can lounge and enjoy the outdoors. He'd thrive with a family that appreciates his moderate activity level-after a 20-30 minute walk, he's content to relax for a while. Zorro knows basic commands like sit, paw, come, and wait, especially when there's food involved. One of Zorro's most endearing traits is his playful personality, often demonstrated by the way he eagerly chases after toys, though he's not always keen on bringing them back. He's also a fan of car rides and enjoys the occasional outing. His foster caregiver believes he would thrive in a home without dominant dogs, preferably alongside a passive female companion. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a heart as big as his head, Zorro might just be the perfect match for you. Story
My name is Lil Man aka Deuce. Deuce for two since I'm getting a second chance at life after being in the shelter. My foster Dad says I'm living life to the fullest and trying really hard at forgetting my first life. I'm still shy around some people but my foster has been teaching me to be less fearful of strangers. I would love you to help me with slow introductions when I meet new people. People always say how beautiful my brindle coat is. I'm very smart and will sit and speak for my treats, I am learning to play ball and will jump in the air to get it! I'm still working on the bring it back all the time, every time. But I'm working on it! I get along well with other dogs and I'm a great watch dog. I like to make sure my people are safe and taken care of. I love being outside in the sun and playing with my dog foster siblings or other dogs. I love the yard and think being outside is swell. When I come inside I'm a very good boy and don't get on the couch or jump on people. I do like to give little licks and kisses to the people I feel safe with. I have a zest for life and like to go for walks and runs and to play in the river. I'm potty trained and stay out during the day in the sunshine. I always try to ensure the squirrels know I'm the bosss. At night I like to sleep inside with my pals. Whoever adopts me will have to be a little patient and continue working with me on my shyness at times. New things are scary and I need you to show me it's going to be ok. My perfect home would have a nice, fenced yard, and maybe a doggy door so I can go in and out on my own. I'll probably do better with another dog in the household, I really like friends. I would love someone to play fetch with me or take me to the river and swim. I don't mind baths at all either, but I sure don't like cats! I like to keep my food just for me and don't really like to share. I know basic commands and will sit for a treat, or two. I would love to meet you and your resident dog and make some new friends!
