Story
My name is Tikki! I'm named after a pup in Paw Patrol! Could also be named happy, because just seem to have a happy smile when playing or cuddling. I'm very sweet love people and kids of all ages. I am good with cats too. My leash skills are pretty good for a puppy and rarely have an accident, so I'm pretty much potty trained. I love to play with toys. Treats are a favorite of mine. If you are interested in my please complete the application. I am located in San Antonio, TX, but my adoption fee includes transport. I come fully vetted to age, fixed, microchipped and will get a health certificate before I travel if adopted out of state

Story
My name is Lil Man aka Deuce. Deuce for two since I'm getting a second chance at life after being in the shelter. My foster Dad says I'm living life to the fullest and trying really hard at forgetting my first life. I'm still shy around some people but my foster has been teaching me to be less fearful of strangers. I would love you to help me with slow introductions when I meet new people. People always say how beautiful my brindle coat is. I'm very smart and will sit and speak for my treats, I am learning to play ball and will jump in the air to get it! I'm still working on the bring it back all the time, every time. But I'm working on it! I get along well with other dogs and I'm a great watch dog. I like to make sure my people are safe and taken care of. I love being outside in the sun and playing with my dog foster siblings or other dogs. I love the yard and think being outside is swell. When I come inside I'm a very good boy and don't get on the couch or jump on people. I do like to give little licks and kisses to the people I feel safe with. I have a zest for life and like to go for walks and runs and to play in the river. I'm potty trained and stay out during the day in the sunshine. I always try to ensure the squirrels know I'm the bosss. At night I like to sleep inside with my pals. Whoever adopts me will have to be a little patient and continue working with me on my shyness at times. New things are scary and I need you to show me it's going to be ok. My perfect home would have a nice, fenced yard, and maybe a doggy door so I can go in and out on my own. I'll probably do better with another dog in the household, I really like friends. I would love someone to play fetch with me or take me to the river and swim. I don't mind baths at all either, but I sure don't like cats! I like to keep my food just for me and don't really like to share. I know basic commands and will sit for a treat, or two. I would love to meet you and your resident dog and make some new friends!

Story
Hey there! I’m Huey Lewis and here’s the news about me! You see, I’m a very active youngster who needs exercise every day. If I don’t have my needs met, I become bored easily, and I’ll muster up my own ways to have fun. Because I’m an adolescent, I need boundaries, and I’ve been working with kennel staff on learning correct behaviors. They say I’ve been making amazing strides! Some of my favorite activities include going on walks or hikes where I enjoy collecting sticks. I also find running and playing in the shelter pens quite exciting! I love seeing my people and I’ll greet you with excited “WOO-WOOS” – it’s just my way of showing you how happy I am. I can be a little overbearing with other dogs, but I enjoy their company and could potentially live with one after a successful introduction. I’m also working on my house training and staff say I’m making great progress. With consistency in a new home, I’ll have it down in no time at all! Due to my large size and exuberant nature I’ll need to live in an adult-only home; and no kitty cats for me please! If you’re looking for a big, lovable adventure buddy, and you’re OK with assisting me with my higher learning then perhaps I’m the perfect dog for you!If you think I sound like a good fit for you and your family, please call the kennel staff at (413)-447-7878 ext. 126 to find more about how to adopt me!Dogs: Pending a Meet and GreetCats: NoKids: NoWeight: 70.4
