Meet Susie! Hello, my name is Susie! I am on the hunt for the best life has to give me. I am a dutch shepherd mix, and I was born 03/4/2023. I had kind of a crazy start, which my friends at the shelter can tell you all about in detail if you're thinking about taking me home. Are you dying to know? Okay, I'll tell you just a little. Before I hit my first birthday, I had a litter of like, a lot of puppies. There were so many! I want to say eight, but once you get past six who's even counting? All I knew was it was a lot of mouths to feed. I got to be with my pups for a couple of weeks, but then I got taken away from them! I was heartbroken, I really wanted to know they were okay. After a week without them, I wound up at this place called the Humane Society, and I got to make lots of pretty cool friends. They gave me tons of treats, and let me play with all kinds of toys, it was the best! After that, they gave me an even BETTER gift. I got to see my puppies! Since it had been so long without them, I didn't have enough milk to care for them anymore, but I was so happy to see them. My whole group of little furballs was doing great, and my new friends had lots of help with keeping them happy and healthy. Since I knew my puppies were safe and happy, they told me it was time to focus on myself, which I think is kind of great. They pampered me with all kinds of love and toys, and told me it's time to find myself a perfect home. As you may have noticed, I really, really, REALLY love toys. Anything that squeaks, rolls, bounces, chews, just about any toy at all! I also don't mind other dogs, but I definitely have to meet them before I agree to live with them. Mavis is a very sweet 2 year old dog. We believe she is mostly Dutch Shepherd. When we adopted her they said she is a lab mix. She does well with other dogs and the very little interactions she has had with children she did good. My wife and I are moving and we can't take her with us.

Meet Tugboat! Tuggy boy is on the hunt for a forever family. Tugboat came in as a stray who was never claimed, he was born roughly 03/01/2022, and he is a Dutch Shepherd mix. He sports the signature brindle coat of his mix, and big radar ears. Tuggy is a gentle soul with lots of love, but he is also down for a good long walk or tussle with a toy. Tug is a smart pup, he knows the 'sit' command and walks well on a leash too. We don't see Tugboat having any issue picking up new tricks or commands with a consistent routine and handler. Tugboat is a social guy, too. He enjoys the company of other dogs, but as always we require a meet and greet if you already have any at home. He loves to snuggle with his people and to sometimes just be held like a baby. Meyer is fostered along with his sister, Mila, other dogs and older kids. He was born on 12-10-23 and he is one of Kate's puppies. She is a Dutch Shepherd mix. Meyer is fully vaccinated, microchipped and recently neutered. He currently weighs in the mid 50lbs. He is available for adoption now! We adopt local to Memphis and out of our area if transportation options are available.
