Story
Murphy is a small happy bundle of fun! He is a beautiful brindle color. He is full of love and joy and loves company and attention from his humans. Murphy did not have a great start in life and came to us from the streets where he roamed. He walks on leash, sleeps in a crate and is a sweet, good, deserving boy! He does have some jumping ability so will need a decent sized fence for backyard. Murphy is: Good with older kids (too high energy for littles unless closely supervised, he will knock them down with his love). Good with dogs. (Should do meet and greet for any other furry household members) Cats: Seems to want to play too hard for cats. Too excited with them but not mean. I’d love to see someone adopt this little guy and show him love for the rest of his life!

Story
Ike is a lab at heart- all love and play, a forever treasure. When we adopted him in 2016, he was listed as a "playground star" because of how well he got along with the other dogs at the shelter. He has been raised around other dogs and cats and truly enjoys having other animals in the house, though his humans become his favorite. He is all love to visitors, children and adults alike, and would make the absolute worst guard dog. Best case scenario he has a yard or land to run around on and chase a tennis ball, but he would be happy with a comfy couch and daily walks, too. He is absolutely gorgeous, even as he ages. His black and brindle coat, one floppy ear, perpetual smile, and greying muzzle lead to a dog truly beautiful to behold and impossible to stay mad at.

Story
My name is Lil Man aka Deuce. Deuce for two since I'm getting a second chance at life after being in the shelter. My foster Dad says I'm living life to the fullest and trying really hard at forgetting my first life. I'm still shy around some people but my foster has been teaching me to be less fearful of strangers. I would love you to help me with slow introductions when I meet new people. People always say how beautiful my brindle coat is. I'm very smart and will sit and speak for my treats, I am learning to play ball and will jump in the air to get it! I'm still working on the bring it back all the time, every time. But I'm working on it! I get along well with other dogs and I'm a great watch dog. I like to make sure my people are safe and taken care of. I love being outside in the sun and playing with my dog foster siblings or other dogs. I love the yard and think being outside is swell. When I come inside I'm a very good boy and don't get on the couch or jump on people. I do like to give little licks and kisses to the people I feel safe with. I have a zest for life and like to go for walks and runs and to play in the river. I'm potty trained and stay out during the day in the sunshine. I always try to ensure the squirrels know I'm the bosss. At night I like to sleep inside with my pals. Whoever adopts me will have to be a little patient and continue working with me on my shyness at times. New things are scary and I need you to show me it's going to be ok. My perfect home would have a nice, fenced yard, and maybe a doggy door so I can go in and out on my own. I'll probably do better with another dog in the household, I really like friends. I would love someone to play fetch with me or take me to the river and swim. I don't mind baths at all either, but I sure don't like cats! I like to keep my food just for me and don't really like to share. I know basic commands and will sit for a treat, or two. I would love to meet you and your resident dog and make some new friends!

Story
Drake is a friendly, loving, cuddling, high-energy dog who loves to play fetch and splash in water! He’s great off a leash and can catch balls out of mid air. He is curious outside, but will come when called (even if he trots out the front door). We took him to dog parks, Yard Bar, on hiking trails, Zilker and have a daily ball-launcher fetch routine! If you’re looking for a dog to go exploring with who will plop his head in your lap in the evening then Drake is your dog! Sadly, I just got divorced so I feel guilty about how little I get to take him out, and my five young kids aren’t good about reading his body language and would very rarely get nipped at if they were jumping on top of him (though he’s typically very patient). If you adopt him, I can throw in a large steel crate toys and gear to play fetch with!

These pups are in Belton, Texas too!

Story
I adopted Cekla when he was Retired as an MWD in September of 2023. His birthday is 21 Aug of 2019. I am looking for someone who knows working dogs and has patience. Cekla has anxiety and will pace the house when left alone. He had a caudectomy (tail amputation) while he was still serving due to his constant need to spin. He still knows and follows basic commands (sit, stay, out, yes, leave it, no, and house) but I have not kept up with any of his other training (bite work, etc). Cekla has high energy for a dog that is retired. He does come with a complete medical file as well as medications and things he requires.
