Story
Looking for a playful and happy addition to your family? Meet Nikki! This young Dutch Shepherd mix is full of joy and energy, and loves her toys. Whether it’s tug-of-war, chasing a frisbee, or gnawing on her favorite stuffy (without completely destroying it!), she’s always ready for fun.Nikki is a social butterfly with dogs of all shapes and sizes, but she prefers playmates who match her vibe—confident, playful, and respectful of social cues. She thrives in a home with a doggy sibling who enjoys games like chase and light roughhousing while knowing when to take it easy. She’s just as good at setting boundaries as she is at respecting them. If things get overwhelming, she’ll gracefully bow out and find her own space. When it comes to people, Nikki can be a little shy at first, but patience, soft hands, and some tasty treats will win her over. Once she feels safe, her sweet and affectionate personality shines. Speaking of treats, this girl is very food motivated— I’m sure she’ll be responsive to any training! She’s crate trained and housebroken too. If you’re ready to welcome a playful, smart, and socially savvy pup into your life, Nikki can’t wait to meet you!Completed heartworm treatment September 2024

Story
Meet Anne, a truly special girl with a heart full of love and a spirit bursting with youthful energy! She has a sweet disposition that captivates everyone around her. Anne is full of enthusiasm and a zest for life. She prefers pups who respect her space and allow her time to warm up as she can be timid with new canines. Doggie Day Out Report: Anne handled her bath rather well! During our walk to the park, she couldn`t contain her excitement and wanted to race ahead with my kids on their bicycles. Though I might not be the fastest runner, Anne is learning the virtues of patience, and she’ll thrive with a loving family who can guide her through her youthful antics! What’s truly heartwarming is how much she adores children. Anne was especially drawn to my boys, ages 15, 13, and 11, and it was clear that her happiest moments were spent close to them. She has a playful spirit, full of gentle play bounces and curious nibbles, but we know with the right love and training, she`ll learn the ropes in no time. This playful girl is also a treat lover! Anne comfortably sits and takes treats with the utmost gentleness—what a sweet girl! She shows signs of being kennel trained; with just a little encouragement, she happily goes inside and settles down like an angel. We do have a stray cat that has taken up residence in our front yard, and while Anne showed a little curiosity, she was quick to redirect her focus when asked. If you sit down, be prepared for a cuddle session! Anne loves to melt into your lap and roll over for belly rubs. She thoroughly enjoyed a grooming session, losing about 10 lbs of fur in the process—talk about a good pampering! Anne is not just a pet; she’s a loving companion waiting to become a cherished member of a new family. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate, and trainable pup to join your home, Anne is your girl! With patience and love, she’ll blossom into the wonderful pet you’ve always wanted. Let’s help this sweet girl find her forever home!
