Tessa is shy yet an absolute love bug. She will follow her human and furry foster siblings around all over the house. Enjoys stuffed and chew toys. Sometimes she will play hide and seek with your shoe, but won’t chew it up. Still learning all the things in the world and absolutely loves being outside, even learned the dog door right away. To say she is food motivated is an understatement, making it very easy to teach her new things. She has mastered sit! Probably won’t get past 45lbs. Night time cuddles are her favorite m! She go sit in her humans spot and watch them until they come cuddle her. She loves a good ear rub and smothered in blankets. If you are looking for a dog that is chill, yet playful, independent player and yet cuddle bug this is your gal! She can be an only dog, but would definitely enjoy time with other dogs as play dates or on adventures! Tessa is available for adoption throughout the US and Canada. Transport fees are included with adoption. Each dog transported receives a health certificate before leaving.

I am a brindly, gray/fawn GODDESS of love and soft fur :) I was tied to the fence at the rescue, with my friend Zeus Boy (he has been adopted already) one early Sunday morning. We were immediately taken in by the rescue, it was a very sad letter left with us on the fence.... we were very loved but our family had to move in with a parent and the parent's dogs were fighting us and hurting us :( So they did the best they could to find us a safe place to find great homes..... now I am the ONLY ONE LEFT to find that AMAZING HOME@!! I am a beautiful shepherd girl, my soft fur is so brindly and colorful you will gaze at me for hours :D I am a young gal, had heartworms and was already treated for it, so I am just ready to be YOURS :) ADOPT ME, must love and know Shepherds- I am a wonderful example of the breed. My name is Lil Man aka Deuce. Deuce for two since I'm getting a second chance at life after being in the shelter. My foster Dad says I'm living life to the fullest and trying really hard at forgetting my first life. I'm still shy around some people but my foster has been teaching me to be less fearful of strangers. I would love you to help me with slow introductions when I meet new people. People always say how beautiful my brindle coat is. I'm very smart and will sit and speak for my treats, I am learning to play ball and will jump in the air to get it! I'm still working on the bring it back all the time, every time. But I'm working on it! I get along well with other dogs and I'm a great watch dog. I like to make sure my people are safe and taken care of. I love being outside in the sun and playing with my dog foster siblings or other dogs. I love the yard and think being outside is swell. When I come inside I'm a very good boy and don't get on the couch or jump on people. I do like to give little licks and kisses to the people I feel safe with. I have a zest for life and like to go for walks and runs and to play in the river. I'm potty trained and stay out during the day in the sunshine. I always try to ensure the squirrels know I'm the bosss. At night I like to sleep inside with my pals. Whoever adopts me will have to be a little patient and continue working with me on my shyness at times. New things are scary and I need you to show me it's going to be ok. My perfect home would have a nice, fenced yard, and maybe a doggy door so I can go in and out on my own. I'll probably do better with another dog in the household, I really like friends. I would love someone to play fetch with me or take me to the river and swim. I don't mind baths at all either, but I sure don't like cats! I like to keep my food just for me and don't really like to share. I know basic commands and will sit for a treat, or two. I would love to meet you and your resident dog and make some new friends!

This is River! River is a lovely, gentle soul that wants nothing more than to lay around with her human. River was rescued about a year ago. She was found wandering the street in the heat, dehydrated and skinny. Since then River has received basic training such as leash training, potty training, how to sit, and play fetch. River is currently in a foster home with 3 other dogs an is doing great. She does not chew and does not resource guard. She was born March 3rd, 2022. Her dad is Blue Heeler/Black Lab and mom is German Shepherd/Husky. She is mostly black with a little bit of white on her toes and her chest along with a white tipped tail. I'm looking for someone who can be active with her. She is kennel trained at night and settles down after a little time out of the kennel in the morning. She is a sweet dog once she gets settled. I feed all dogs dry dog food and she loves the gravy train with water. I started at a young age teaching her not to be aggressive with food. She loves to play with a tug of war rope, she hasn't gotten a hang of fetch yet. We are working on basic commands such as "sit". We don't allow any pets on furniture (she might try when rehomed, but it'll be your preference), and we don't allow them to eat people food except maybe rare special occasions such as Thanksgiving (she might try but it's your preference). Overall she is sweet when she gets to know you but she might be shy/timid at first.
