Story
Max is a Dutch Shepherd and approximately 3 years old. He is a typical Dutchie in many ways. He is very toy driven and loves a game of fetch. When excited he's mouthy and will def give you the love nibbles. He is not interested in making many human friends outside of "his" people, but as long as he is under control/guidance of his handler he does fine. This means that he isn't the life of the party when people come over or the dog that is going to be pet on by strangers. He bonds with his people and is so goofy and fun to have around. He is mostly house and crate trained. He requires a fenced yard to enjoy. Max does know basic obedience. He is dog social but prefers females. He will require an adult home. No cats please. He is healthy and happy and would be great for an active pet home or a hobby sport pet home! Interested families can submit applications for adoption on our website- www.k9Justiceleague.com.

Beam me up, Scottie. He may not beam you up, but he will definitely brighten you up. Scottie comes with a playful spirit and fun loving energy. He also has a calm, relaxed side to him when he is enjoying his weekly walk with the volunteers. His cool, mysterious look and his soft, silky coat complement his affectionate and warm personality. Story
Hi this is bear. A 2 year 2 month old purebred German shepherd. He is energetic, protective, smart, loyal and all the good things that common with GSD. He is about 80 pounds right now. We have had a lot going on lately with a baby and medical bills that we haven’t been able to provide the necessary care for such an energetic animal. The house has gotten a lot smaller with baby gates and playpens around and the fence in our yard is damaged by trees where bear can get out and take strolls on his own if he chooses. Unfortunately money is really tight right now and we can’t afford to fix the fence and most of our time has been devoted to work and the baby it isn’t fair for bear. He is crate trained and spent 2 weeks being professionally trained at a 2 week board and train. His skills are there, they would just need to be brushed up on. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to keep up with his needs. He’s a great young pup that is full of energy.

Story
Meet Roxy, a lovable 8-9 year old German Shepherd mix looking for her forever home. Roxy is a calm, low-energy companion who enjoys leisurely walks and quality time with her family. She is incredibly sweet and affectionate, making her a perfect cuddle buddy. Roxy is well-behaved on a leash, loves squeaky toys, and is a pro at catching tennis balls. She enjoys playing fetch, is housebroken, and crate trained.Roxy gets along well with her foster family's small dog, but she should meet any potential dog friends to ensure a good fit. Up to date on all her vaccines, Roxy is ready to bring joy and love to her new family. Adopt Roxy today and experience the warmth of her gentle spirit! Here is a bit more about what her foster momma has to say about Roxy:"Roxy is looking for her furever home. She is a lovebug! She is super sweet and bonds very quickly. She gets along with my dog. We took her to the park this weekend, where she greeted every passerby with a tail wag (hoping for some pets). One lady did stop and Roxy enjoyed all the attention. She didn't seem to be bothered by the dogs we passed, either. No leash reactivity from this girl. She walks amazing on leash! Here are some pictures from the last few days! Please message me or contact the shelter if you are interested in meeting this sweet gal."This is what I can tell you about sweet Roxy:**house trained**crate trained**lover of her people**walks amazing on leash**no food aggression**loves to carry around a tennis ball**VERY easy going*****Roxy is in a foster home at this time. If you are interested in meeting with her, please reach out at PRAS-FOSTER@NNVA.GOV.
