adoption donation : $699 weight 14 lbs   Age: 4 months as of 8/12   Freddie Mercury and his  siblings, Taylor Swift, Joni Mitchell, Elvis and Elton John,  are adorable mixed breed pups who will be on the small side of medium. They seem to have some parson Russell terrier and Fox terrier mix.    Freddie just arriving in the northeast from Mississippi on Saturday, August 10. he and his siblings have had a grand time in their foster home in Mississippi, running and romping together and snuggling into a great big puppy pile to nap.    But now it’s time for Freddy and his brothers and sisters to have loving families of their own. The puppies have had vaccinations, but will be spayed and neutered when they are older. Wags will pay for the procedure at one of the clinics that we use in the northeast or reimburse adopters what we pay if they choose to use their own vet.    Please note that Wags of Monroe county is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs. Wags desperately need to raise funds to help the sick and older dogs at the rescue. Adoption fees include the transport for Mississippi, spay or neuter, deworming, vaccines and microchip. He is currently around 14 lbs as of 8/18. This happy-go-lucky boy is a gentle and playful pup who gets along wonderfully with kids, all adults, other dogs and is AMAZING with the cats in our home. Scout is smart and very food motivated and already knows sit, rides well in a car, and walks on a leash. Scout is working hard and doing well with potty training, and he also enjoys snuggling with his human friends. She is just about 11 lbs as of 8/18 as well. This sweet girl has a stunning peach-pink tan coat that’s as soft as it is beautiful. She is thin and fast so we think she might have some whippet in her. This poor girl was part of a litter of puppies that was dumped in someone’s yard and were lucky enough to find their way into rescue (so we really don’t know their mix though some type of hound is evident). Lilah is a playful little sweetheart who’s already puppy pad trained and making great strides towards house training. She gets along famously with kids, all people, other dogs, and is great with our family cats . Though she’s one of the smaller pups in her litter, she has a spirited personality and is outgoing when meeting other large dogs and new people. Lilah is doing great with leash training, rides well in cars and picks up any new skill happily and quickly. Boy is she smart! She’s also a big fan of snuggling and will melt your heart with her affectionate nature.
