Lucille is a great companion that will love you with her whole enthusiastic and wiggly self. She will greet you with joy every time you come home. - She is food motivated and trainable. She has a very solid wait. She also knows off (to get off furniture or the bed), up (to get on furniture or the bed). If she has a place (for us it is a bathmat where we feed her) and you say "Lucille, go to your place" she will do so every single time. She is also very good with "go to your blankies" (her bed) at night. - She loves to go on car rides. - She does not seem to have any food sensitivities or allergies. The challenges: - Lucille was born into a dog hoarding home where she lived until she was one. There is no doubt that she has anxiety and food aggression. She has been on fluoxetine in the past and is currently taking trazodone. Without these, we found that she is unable to relax and loses weight. - She needs to be in a fairly quiet home without other small dogs.

Bailey is a silly and sweet girl and the perfect size at 32 lbs. She was DNA tested and is 41% lab and 23% terrier which is probably why she is so petite. Like labs, she loves the outside and loves to explore. She needs a fenced yard with frequent access to outside play time. She loves to lounge and snuggle on the couch. Bailey is house and crate trained. She is currently in foster without other pets but does go to the dog park and plays well with her friends. All our dogs/cats are vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, on preventions, and spayed/neutered if old enough. Lila is a 1.5-year-old, 21lb chestnut Feist Dachshund mix. Lila is as sweet as can be! Her foster family describe her as a "love bug." She's playful but prefers to play with her sister Mackenzie over any toys. Lila can be a little bit stubborn but is submissive and will let you put her harness on her with no problem. Hi! I'm Frick a sweet, lovable puppy! Not EXACTLY sure what I am, but I am a happy fellow! Mom says I am the most handsome pup ever ... I'm outgoing and one to speak my mind! For example, I am very food motivated and can tell time: when it's meal time, I'll talk to you as a reminder ... I am better than any smart alarm! I love to talk to my toys, too. I am working on fetch - and will bark in excitement as I chase them around. I don't talk all the time, but enough that I'm not gonna be a great apartment or town house resident. I sleep through the night in my crate and sometimes I go in on my own for naps! I enjoy hunting sticks in the yard .... and I LOVE riding around in a stroller - it gets me LOTS of attention and pets! I am working on my leash manners but have a long way to go on that, still, but I know my stoller days are coming to an end now that I'm a big dog. Fun and feisty Fern is on the farm and she is fabulous no doubt! Fern is an adult Feist mix who weighs about 45 lbs full grown. Fern is wonderful with other dogs and is an active gal who's signature move is hopping up and down in place as if on an imaginary pogo stick. Fern is definitely a gal who will settle well with active people who like to go and be on the move as much as she does. Fern can be a girl's girl who likes to snuggle and do low key things but she can also go full tilt, run, romp, jump in puddles and will likely be up for joining you on ANY adventure you can conceive. Fern has lots of skills already including walking well on leash and being house trained which is huge bonuses for adopters! Fern will provide endless laughs and tons of fun and be your wing woman who fears nothing and is ready for anything! **Volunteer Dog Walker feedback: "Fern was such a great hiking partner! She loved the puddles and water on the trail. She walked great with her leash. Fern is an excited walker and likes to be at the front of the pack. She got a long really well with all the other dogs on the hike. She has such a gentle demeanor and is a real sweetie pie. I got to sit with her after our hike and give her a ton of pets and hugs".
