FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Hi, I'm Astro, a 8-year-old Chow/Lab mix. Don't let my serious face fool you, I'm a goofy sweet guy! I like to get to know my people slowly, but once I do I love your pets and scratches and I'll even sit in your lap! I'm very food motivated and guard my food and toys with growls and can be stubborn. I love to go for walks and walk well on a leash. I know lots of commands (sit, stay, up, down, lay down, shake, wait, let's go) and love performing for treats. I was recently in a foster home and here are some of my likes/dislikes that they shared about me… Like: food!, exercise/walks and agility, butt scratches, sleeping in my crate, chewing my toys, watching out the window, music, water, other dogs, comfy beds, getting baths Don't like: brushes, towels and loud trucks Astro would do best as the only dog in a house without kids or other small animals since he can be protective and is strong. He will need a family familiar with protection breeds like chows. Astro is neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. His fee is $200.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Meet Skye! Skye is a robust 57-lb, 10-year-old Sheltie who was surrendered to us with his sister, Kenzie when his owner could no longer care for him. He is overweight and will need a patient, loving adopter who will help him on his journey to health and happiness. Ever the curious and alert guardian, Skye will make sure you’re aware of any new visitors. While he may initially keep his distance from strangers, his natural curiosity brings him around quickly. Skye is an obedient and loving presence who lives for scratches and attention. His mornings start with him seeking out his humans for a good rub. He prefers the cool cement pantry floor over the cushiest of dog beds. His dreams? Cold weather and a flock of sheep to manage—classic Sheltie goals! Skye will eat just about anything and has a special love for yogurt. Though he’s carrying a bit of extra weight, he’s otherwise in good health and eager for adventures. Despite being 10 years old, Skye still has the energy and playfulness of much younger pups. He thrives on routine, love attention from his humans, and will bring love and laughter to any home. Skye is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $350.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Meet Kenzie! She is a charming 10-year-old, 37-pound Sheltie who was surrendered to us with her brother, Skye when her owner could no longer care for her. She is overweight and will need a patient, loving adopter who will help her on her journey to health and happiness. When meeting new people, Kenzie can be shy and reserved, but with patience and kindness, she blossoms into a sweet, tail-wagging companion. Grooming and gentle words are the key to her heart. She has a stunning coat that she adores having brushed—once she decides you’ve mastered her preferred technique! Kenzie enjoys exploring the yard, keeping squirrels at bay and would love a fully fenced yard where she can roam and explore. Despite being 10 years old, Kenzie still has the energy and playfulness of much younger pups. She thrives on routine, love attention from her humans, and will bring love and laughter to any home. Kenzie is a delicate treat-taker and a picky eater but does great with her medications when wrapped up just right. She has a scarred ACL, so water therapy could be a fantastic way to help her shed a few pounds and improve her mobility. Kenzie is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $350.
