Story
We've made the very difficult decision to find a new home for our two beautiful golden retrievers, Juke and Bailey. They'll be turning two this May and are littermates - brother and sister, so it's incredibly important to us that they stay together. We got Juke and Bailey from a breeder when they were just puppies. From the beginning, they've been sweet-natured, gentle, and incredibly affectionate. They've grown up in a busy household with five kids, and while they're well-socialized and patient, they would thrive in a calmer environment with more consistent one-on-one attention and space to roam. They are both house-trained, and have had some good obedience training. They are playful, loyal, and cuddly; truly classic golden retrievers in every sense of the word. Juke is the more laid-back of the two, while Bailey has a bit more spunk and curiosity, but they balance each other out beautifully. They are a bonded pair and love to be around people and each other.

Story
8 year old Yesenia is a lab x boxer looking for a home. Yesenia was surviving when kind strangers might feed her, but had to be a strong resilient girl. They suspect she may have been used for breeding and was subjected to having her tail docked. When they no longer wanted her they just left her to fend for herself. Yesenia reads people well and likes to be comforted by them. Yesenia prefers male dogs and isn’t a fan of cats. She is spayed and vaccinated, weighing a perfect 45 lbs. If you think you might be Yesenia’s second chance as a foster or adopter, she’d love to hear from you by emailing us at pvcaadoptions@gmail.com or going direct to our application: https://forms.office.com/r/b1Fkq3u4zw. She absolutely loves her walks and greets me with a bouncy jump of excitement when I approach her kennel. She enjoys fetch, kicking up her heels, and running zoomies in an enclosed fenced area. Outdoor fun is her love language. She is a dog that is full of life and adventure. She seems very treat motivated and her house training is wonderful."This bubbly, friendly girl is ready to bring a whole lot of joy into your life. She absolutely loves being around people and is always up for some fun-especially if it involves fetch (one of her favorites!).Pony already knows "sit" and "down," and she's excited to keep learning with positive reinforcement training.
