Shelter Visiting Hours are 12 pm to 4 pm Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Please fill out an adoption application at mamcorescue.org or attend one of our Saturday adoption event. Events are held each Saturday from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm at our office: 2721 W Oxford Ave., Suite 6 Englewood, CO 80110 *In order to protect our puppies, we do not allow puppies to attend open events until they have a minimum of two vaccinations. Puppies who are available, but not listed on our weekly Facebook event, are considered "deposit only" puppies. These puppies will only attend the event IF they are reserved through a deposit. You can check the list of puppies attending the open event by checking the event:https://www.facebook.com/MAMCORescue At MAMCO we understand that in order to continue rescuing moms and babies, we must stretch our finances as far as we are able. For this reason we use variable adoption pricing. By assigning higher adoption fees to high demand moms and puppies, we are able to rescue more families in need. The money raised through these adoptions acts as a benefactor to moms and puppies in our care who require expensive veterinary treatments, have behavioral issues, or need more time to find a home. We often reduce the adoption fees on these harder-to-place moms and puppies to help them find forever families. Adoption fees vary. Applications can be filled out at mamcorescue.org. ##1585408##

Story
Chance is a 5 year old black lab/boxer mix. He weighs about 65-70 pounds. It’s breaking our hearts, but my son is relocating to Massachusetts. Chance had been his best friend and by each others side for the past year. He’s a very sweet, loving dog. He’s shy and not a barker. He was adopted from foothills and he’s fit in so well! But due to my son’s relocation, we have to look for a new home for him, hopefully with a big backyard, somebody to take him on daily walks, possibly someone who has another dog he can play with. Not sure about children he hasn’t been around any, but seems ok with cats and with other dogs (As long as they’re not aggressive). Loves to sleep in bed with you and to sit on the couch and watch movies with you and of course loves attention. Loves to be petted and loves treats . If you need a companion to go on hikes and walks with and someone to keep you company during the day or someone to greet you with love when you come home…. This is your guy! Come for a visit!😊

Story
This is Kali, a beautiful and joyful 15 year old black Lab. I've had Kali for four years now, and she has been a gift to have around. But as she's grown older, her hips are getting worse. I live up two flights of stairs, and it's painful for her to constantly go up and down. Kali also has digestion issues. Whatever food I feed her, she will randomly get diarrhea (about once a week or so). If she had a home with a doggy door and a yard, her life would be much better. It pains me to rehome Kali, but I believe she would be much happier and healthier in a ground-floor home.
