Story
Adopted Maggie from the SPCA in April of 2024. She is a high energy dog that loves to play with people, toys, and other dogs. She is kennel trained, house trained, and knows the commands to sit, stay, lay down, and go (to kennel). Maggie would do best in a home with a yard and with a family that has ample time to give her the attention she needs.

Story
Their story is very heart wrenching. They were abandoned in a yard across the river. When i arrived and saw their condition my heart sank. They were so broken and looked like they wanted to give up. They were living on concrete and eating what was left in a pan with dozens of flies. They had a brother but I could not save him. He had such a bad case of a yeast infection all over his body he had hardly any hair left. The heartworms were so bad that he was bloated and caughing all the way to the vet. I could not get there fast enough to euthanize him because he was suffering. Someone stepped up and was able to provide care for them for the past 6 months!Amanda & Jazz started on their journey to healing and getting healthy with lots of care at the vet clinic much with love and attention. Amanda was hearworm positive but is now heartworm free! Amanda & Jazz really need a home together. They spoon with each other in the same bed eventhough there were two beds in their kennel. You will ❤️
