Story
Marina is a very sweet dog who gave birth to several sweet puppies. She was completely open to all the visitors that came to the house to meet her and her kin. She loves pets and kisses for her and enjoyed the same for her puppies. She loves bones and toys. I often find her playing with a toy, throwing it around and chasing it. She also loves sun bathing in the back yard. She has met multiple children and adults so she is very good with people. *Weekend Host commented: "Marina is an absolute sweetie pie! She's the perfect dog to snuggle up with and to keep you company. " "She loved being around my family." "Marina loves cozying up somewhere comfortable!" *Most recent Weekend Host feedback: "Marina was the perfect little lady while she was a guest at our house. She is potty trained and knows the sit command. She was very easy to get into and out of her harness - she would sit patiently by the door waiting for us to buckle her up. She loved our long walks through the woods, she never tired even on our longest walk. She loves to be outside. After a nice long walk she would come in and play with the toys we had for her. Then it was nap time! She likes to cozy up on the sofa with someone nearby. She never once barked. She is very quiet!" *"She did well in the car, is potty trained, slept thru the night in her crate, loves long walks and stuffed animals to play with! She is a sweet girl. She is a little bit shy but her personality came through over the weekend!" *Latest Weekend Host commented: "Marina will walk as long as you let her. She is an outdoorsy, adventure girl; ready to hike and explore! She was very calm and well-behaved in the car. She had no accidents in the house and seemed to let me know she needed to go by standing at the door or looking at her leash. She settled nicely at bedtime, we didn't use a crate. Marina didn't encounter any other dogs or cats close up, she saw some at a distance, and seemed curious but unbothered. Very friendly and gentle with all people. I gave her a Natural Farms peanut butter stuffed beef collagen stick and she LOVED it. She stayed happily busy chewing it as long as I'd let her. She also likes to toss and chase stuffy toys and loves belly rubs. " Weeklong Host Feedback: "Marina is a very well-mannered dog. She likes to play with toys as well as keep you company. She is very social and prefers to keep you company rather than be in a room by herself. She likes to look out the window and watch people walking by. She does well on a leash walking by your side at your pace. She does well riding in a car too. She sleeps straight through the night. We did not crate her at night. She is potty trained and goes to the door when she needs to go out. She comes to you when you call her and likes lots of affection and treats. She was the perfect house guest. She is really smart and adjusted to our daily routines very quickly. She has a wonderful temperament!" Recent Weekend Host added: "Marina is an even-tempered guest. We have hosted her twice now. She loves to explore our fenced-in yard and is friendly to our neighbor's dog. She is good company, likes to sit in the sun and roll around in the grass. She also loves to play with squeak toys, and is very curious of the birds that live in our trees. She is very calm when riding in the car too. She goes to the door when she needs to go outside. She really is the perfect companion!"

Story
Oh Ricky, you're so fine, you're so fine you blow my mind, Hey Ricky!! Once you meet this guy, you're mind will be blown for sure! This retriever perhaps Boxer mix weighs about 48 lbs full grown. Ricky is a wiggly, happy young adult retriever mix ready to find his forever. He does great on a leash and makes friends quickly in his play groups. He is a confident boy that likes learning new things and LOVES people! Ricky would likely do best in a home with another dog as he experiences some worries about where his people are going when they leave and would prefer a buddy keep him company no matter what. Ricky is eager to please and is winning the hearts of everyone he meets. Get your adoption request in right away and let him wiggle his way into yours. **Volunteer Dog Walker feedback: "I had the pleasure of hiking with handsome Ricky! He was fantastic. Got a long with all the other dogs, loved getting treats and walked well on the leash". " When he was at the front of the pack he did not pull at all and there was plenty of slack in the leash. Ricky did not mind any passing cars and was comfortable walking past them. Ricky also loves to give hugs and to get all of the pets. He leans up against your legs as much has he can to take in all of the love! Ricky also loves to give kisses! *Weekend Host Feedback: "Ricky is a big lovebug that wants to be with his family as much as possible. He loves snuggling and playing. He makes a great reading companion and adores sitting next to you on the couch. He loves to play and walk, though his leash manners could use a brushing up. He's potty trained for the most part and got along well with our two other dogs. He was great with our older kids and is a people dog. Ricky is adjusting to the crate, though he wouldn't say no to snuggling in bed with you. If you are looking a loveable yet high energy cuddle bug, you've found him!" *Recent Host Feedback: "Ricky is a super sweet boy who loves attention. He has progressed quite favorably on the leash. Ricky pull a little bit but getting better with each walk. In addition, he is respectful of other dogs and people who he encounters on the walks. He is potty trained as he had had zero accidents during his stay! While not a huge fan of the crate during the day, he sleeps very well in his crate at night. He is quite the lover and wants to cuddle. He tends to be better with teenage kids and adults vs younger kids. He also played well with our other dog who is equal in size." *" He is quite the lover and wants to cuddle. He tends to be better with teenage kids and adults vs younger kids. He sat nicely for treats, drank water at every pit stop, and loved all the attention". **I had the pleasure of walking with, the one and only, Jimbo! He had a lot of engery and preferred being near the front. Jimbo was great about taking treats and would sit for them every time. And didn't mind sharing with the other pups. He enjoyed being petted, hugs and kisses!  *Weekend Host feedback: "Jimbo is a very good boy who loves a comfy couch, belly rubs, and a good ball to play with. He was gentle, well-mannered, and outgoing with our high-energy dog. They would play, play, play, and then sleep on the couch. Over the weekend we did several miles of greenway walks. He excelled walking on the leash and did not pull, even patiently sitting when waiting. He knows 'sit' and 'come' and was super chill while riding in the car".
