Story
Good friends are a special gift! Dakota is looking to be someone's best friend as soon as possible! She is a young adolescent retriever mix with a bouncy step and wiggles for days. She weighs about 27 lbs now and may have some more room to grow but still will fall on the smaller side. Since arriving at Saving Grace, she has learned so many new things and shows us just how smart she is! She plays great with lots of other dogs and is a laugh a minute kind of girl. Athletic and ready for action, Dakota's looking for an active lifestyle with lots of time to grow into her adult self. Get your adoption request in for Dakota today! **Volunteer Dog Walker feedback: "She found her stride after a few minutes. She did great and seemed to enjoy herself!! She got along great with the other dogs and never had an issue with anyone. I believe she would enjoy a doggo buddy to walk with, as she did on the hike, when she finds her new family" **Volunteer Dog Walker feedback: "Dakota took a while to warm up to the hike, but once she did she walked with ease and had energy to do more. Story
*** AVAILABLE ON-SITE STARTING WEDNESDAY 11/20 *** Marina is a very sweet dog who gave birth to several sweet puppies. She was completely open to all the visitors that came to the house to meet her and her kin. She loves pets and kisses for her and enjoyed the same for her puppies. She loves bones and toys. I often find her playing with a toy, throwing it around and chasing it. She also loves sun bathing in the back yard. She has met multiple children and adults so she is very good with people. Weekend Host commented: "Marina is an absolute sweetie pie! She's the perfect dog to snuggle up with and to keep you company. " "She loved being around my family." "Marina loves cozying up somewhere comfortable!" "Marina is a quiet dog, not whining or barking much. She is very well behaved, not getting into any mischief. She knows the "sit" command and comes when called." "Marina has some room for improvement with leash walking but doesn't pull! She gets excited and very curious to see other people and dogs on walks but was always very polite." "She has no problem while riding along in the car! " "Marina loves playing with toys. She often picks up a toy and throws it up in the air, jumping up after it." "When she first wakes up, she loves belly rubs." "She was nothing but kind, and has a very gentle soul." Most recent Weekend Host feedback: "Marina was the perfect little lady while she was a guest at our house. She is potty trained and knows the sit command. She was very easy to get into and out of her harness - she would sit patiently by the door waiting for us to buckle her up. She loved our long walks through the woods, she never tired even on our longest walk. She loves to be outside. After a nice long walk she would come in and play with the toys we had for her. Then it was nap time! She likes to cozy up on the sofa with someone nearby. She never once barked. She is very quiet!" "She did well in the car, is potty trained, slept thru the night in her crate, loves long walks and stuffed animals to play with! She is a sweet girl. She is a little bit shy but her personality came through over the weekend!"

Story
Heart swoon as Bill makes his way around the farm. This guy is awesome with a capital A! Handsome and athletic, he's like that all around superstar kind of guy. Tie his good looks along with his personality and you've got a recipe for one heck of a companion. Bill is a young adult retriever mix, about 60 lbs full grown, who no couch potato. He has lots of energy and will do great in an energetic household where he can get lots of exercise and be all up in the middle of whatever is going on. He gets along well with other dogs, but people are his faves. If you're looking to give up some personal space and have a dog that is all about you. Bill's your guy! **Volunteer Dog Walker feedback: "Loves a booty scratch. Loves other dogs and kids. Big ole goofball. He knows to sit and wait and he likes to snuggle in your lap--thinks he's a lap dog".
