Meet Sirius Black!Adoption Fee: $400Sirius Black was found as a stray, but sadly he wasn't microchipped and no owner came forward. Now that his vet care is completed, he's ready to find his forever family.Breed Guess: Flatdoodle - based on odds, we're going with that. ;-) He has a docked tail and straighter fur than most Labradoodles, but he could also be a Labradoodle. Not completely unheard of. Typically, Wire-haired Pointing Griffon's don't come in black, but that's another possibility. There's also Griff Doodles. The list goes on a bit more.No matter what his breed is, Sirius Black is one handsome fella! Pictures don't do him justice. This boy is sweet, smart, and very playful. He LOVES water. He can be crated, but he doesn't care to be left alone so he will flip is water. He's totally fine with laying in a pool of water and almost seems to prefer it! LOL* We don't have a good way to cat test him, but will dog test him soon. We think he'll be fine with dogs and he did fine with his brief kid test. If interested in adoption, email your application today! A completed adoption application and home visit are required for approval to adopt a CARE dog. Out of state adoptions okay. All dogs receive a distemper/parvovirus vaccine(s), kennel cough vaccine, rabies vaccine, dewormer, monthly heartworm prevention, flea & tick prevention and treatment if needed, microchip, and are spayed/neutered through CARE.The most accurate and complete information about available dogs can be found on our official website at www.caretoadopt.org.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.www.caretoadopt.org Adoption saves lives! Story
Surely it isn't true that everyone wants a puppy. There's a lot to be said for a mature three-year-old lady with perfect manners. I'm even housebroken. Let's hear you young pups say that! I think every dog deserves a good home, even those of us that aren't spring chickens anymore. I have many good years left and so much love to give. I only need someone to give me another chance at a good life.Petunia has already been spayed and is looking for her forever home! Story
Let me guess: You sing in the car. Loudly. Off-key. And did I mention loudly? Or you snore, or talk in your sleep, or like to practice your violin playing. Well, that might make a lesser dog than I have a second thoughts about coming to live with you and love you, but not me. That's because my heart is enormous and my potential for devotion is practically bottomless. Tell me you're not frantically reading those words, thinking "MY GOSH! I must find out how to adopt this dog RIGHT THIS VERY MINUTE." Calm down, off-key-singing person! I'll be patiently waiting for you in my cell. Sawyer has already been neutered and is looking for his forever home!
