This big handsome hunk weighs in at 99 pounds and is 18 months old. He appears to be a flat coat retriever/Labrador retrieve mix. You really need to meet him to appreciate his beauty which is matched only by his extremely sweet personality. Hunter is playful but not overly hyper. He loves to be with people and appears to be good with other dogs. He was owner surrendered with a younger puppy when the original owner did not pick them up from relatives where they were temporarily staying. Hunter is going to need someone who can spend time with him and continue his training. He is a very smart dog, and will be a joy to anyone who is lucky enough to adopt him. I am on the hyper side and tend to get along with other dogs as long as they are males and can handle my energy. I have been at the shelter for a while and have been adopted and returned twice because of my energy levels. I do love people and will be willing to give you attention as long as you give me attention. I am not suited for sitting around laying on the couch, that would only work if we have gone on long walks and or hiking or have been playing hard for a while.
