Story
Born February 2020, Eclipse is a male Lab mix who was born blind with a purely cosmetic cleft palate. He has no issues eating, drinking or getting around. Eclipse is going to make some family a great companion - he loves people and especially kids. Eclipse's favorite things are snuggling up right beside his person and accepting some much wanted belly rubs! He's currently 45 lbs. and is still growing. He does best with dogs at least his size and kids over the age of 8. Cats are unknown. Eclipse is fully vaccinated, neutered and micro chipped. We know that very special person or family is out there for Eclipse because he has a whole lotta life to live! He may be special needs (trust us, he doesn't know it!), however like any other puppy he just wants to have fun and show unconditional love and devotion to his family. A securely fenced yard is a must. All dogs in adopters homes must be up to date on vaccinations and altered. Homes must have a 6ft secure fence and no children under 5. Like all Mikey's Chance dogs, this dog will come to you from a foster home that has provided loving one-on-one attention, socialization and some basic training, as well as quality food and exercise. Applications can found at our website mikeyschance.com. Please note that adopters are not chosen on a first come, first served basis, but full consideration is given to the best fit for the dog AND the adopter. Applications can 2-4 weeks to process, application submission does not guarantee approval for adoption.

Story
Born February 2019, Nova is a female lab mix seeking a special forever home. Nova has seizures and is on medication that MUST be given every 12 hours. That medication costs about $60 per month using GoodRx and BuzzRX. These medications cannot be stopped or have doses skipped. One of our director’s can speak more in depth with interested adopters about the severity of Nova’s seizures. With consistency, Nova’s seizures are well controlled and she hasn’t had a seizure in about a year. Nova is 100% pure good girl. She is crate trained, potty trained, and rides well in a car (Except for an occasional attempt at climbing into her favorite coffee shop window 😃). Nova is fantastic with all dogs, cats, and kids. She can be very bouncy when excited so a home with children over 5 who aren’t afraid of being knocked down would be best. Nova’s must haves are a home where she can cuddle on the couch with her person, someone who can accommodate medication every 12 hours, and someone who is heavy handed with the treats. Nova is quite the acrobat so she requires a 5 foot or taller fence. If Nova seems like the girl for you and you’d like to learn more about her special needs, please submit an application at www.mikeyschance.com or email us at mikeyschance@gmail.com with questions.

Story
Please allow me to introduce myself, my name is Kalea. I am a lab/Pitbull mix born in October of 2020. I love walks, car rides and ice cream cones. I have a bit of a Princess attitude and would like to avoid drama sharing a home with another female. Male dogs are great if they can keep up with my powerful play 😊 I am very affectionate and do a soft silly side. I do like to keep “what’s mine, mine” I am working on sharing nicely 😬 I am crate trained and housebroken and would love to be your forever friend. A secure 6 foot fence with adults or adults and kids over ref5 is preferred . If you are interested in fostering me, please send an email to mikeyschance@gmail.com with my name in the subject line: Kalea. I'm also available for ADOPTION and applications can be found at www.mikeyschance.com.
