Name: Scarlet (Scar Jo) Age: 17 months Breed: lab mix Gender: female Weight: 50lbs Good with kids: yes Good with dogs: yes Good with cats: unlnown Current on vaccinations: Yes Fixed: Yes Foster location: Appleton Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Adoption fee: Adoption includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork. Bio: This beautiful little lady just arrived from Texas to her foster home after 7 long months of waiting for a rescue to pick her. We are still getting to know her and she is adjusting but we will share what we know now. She has been fostered with dogs of all sizes and seems to do well. She is an active girl who loves to play, she does play hard though so would need to be with other dogs that can appreciate that, or wouldn’t be interested in play. She likes to talk when she plays, seems like the doggy version of smack talk and is kind of funny to watch. We have been told that she loves water and plays in puddles when it rains, this was confirmed when she surprised her foster mom in the shower this morning. She still seems to be nervous with men and fast movements but already seems to be adjusting and getting used to our busy household, and happily lets her foster dog feed her . Speaking of food, that seems to be one of the best ways to her heart, she LOVES treats, food and kids spilled snacks. She is learning that table and counter surfing aren’t the best manners, but sits so pretty it almost makes up for it. We will have many more updates to come but so far we know she will make someone a great companion and really likes to love hard on her people. Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved.August 19, 2024, 8:22 pm
