Story
American Foxhound We are looking for a good home for our full Bred American Foxhound. Female, spayed, house broken, about 5-7 yrs old. Exact age unknown since she's a rescue. She is chipped and licensed but may need to be updated on her shots, I think she was due again a couple of months ago: She is a sweet but nervous girl with a rough past. From what we know her previous owners weren't very good to her and by the time she got to us she was full of scars. :. But she is gentle, just a little hesitant around new animals around her, she's great once she warms up to them though and will protect them at all costs. She has been a great sister to our other two dogs (female & male). I think she may be best for someone with a yard for her to release her energy, somewhat active person that can play with her, someone that can give her their full attention. Perfect for a retiree, single person, or couple with no little kids.

Adopt Libra and let her brighten your days with her playful, loving personality. Good with people, dogs, and kids. She is mid to high energy. About a year and a half old and around 30-35 Pounds. Story
Darwin is a happy, healthy hound/terrier mix (45 lbs, 9 years). We're looking for an experienced dog lover to care for him. We're flexible about timing and working with you on what makes sense (e.g., temporary fostering, re-homing, etc.). Darwin is an amazing companion. He loves being loved, taking long walks (and naps). If you want a true buddy dog, he's your man. Darwin thrives when he's the center of your world. Until recently, he's been our only child- with no other young kids or pets in the house. In that environment, he's the perfect low-maintenance dog. We now have a toddler and a second baby on the way, and sadly, don't think we can have Darwin and young kids simultaneously. He's GREAT with people and older kids (and certain dogs), but not as good with young kids. We think he'd be happiest as the only child again, getting maximum time and attention from you, without other young kids or pets in the house. We love him more than words can say. Happy to answer any questions!

Story
Remington is 3 years old and about 80 lbs. Tricolor hound mix.  Fun, playful and easy to be around! Great with kids. Quick to learn, and already knows sit, stay, heel, walk/come. Walks very well on the leash and can be walked with a pal (Winchester). Young and very loving, and also food and attention motivated. He came from a shelter with similar boy Winchester, who is his friend, so he should do well in a home with other big dogs. He loves kiddie pools. *Note that young dogs and pure breeds are at the highest end of our prices.* Please find our applications and valuable information under  "Adopt a dog"* on our website:  *www.beaglesandbuddies.com* and email your application to beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com. Let us know your preference of appointment day/time and which dogs you are interested in and we will do our best to accommodate and email you the closest appointment available. Please allow us up to a week to get back to you. Most appointments will be Friday-Sunday, 10 am - 2 pm, for an hour. *Note bring any other dog/s and the entire family to your meet and greet at B&B.* A complimentary training manual is included with each adoption, authored by terristeuben.com. Check out her website - she is fabulous! B&B is glad to be open during the pandemic. We know the value and comfort of a loving pet companion and are doing our best to help the dogs and folks who need them. We update our website daily and are always rescuing, vetting, rehabilitating, socializing. &#226&#128&#139 Are you my furrever family? For further info on the adoption process, please visit our home page and check out the "Adopt a Dog" section, which has thorough instructions.  All our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and  fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.   Our prices are higher than the shelters' because we nurse the dogs through their illnesses and get them needed surgeries and dentals. We also spend time socializing. Furthermore, unlike shelters, rescues do not get financial aid from the government and must rely on donations, grants, and adoption fees. Our fees for adults start at $150 and usually go up to $750. Young adults that are high in demand may be a little over $750.00. For puppies and purebreds, we charge up to $1000. The lower end is for dogs who have been here a while. The good news is that, because rescues fall under the "charity" category, the fees for our dogs are officially donations and are therefore tax deductible. You can think of it as donating to a worthy cause and getting a dog in return!  Sponsor Me Beagles & Buddies must find ways to raise money so we can continue saving dogs. Your tax-deductible donation keeps our rescue kennel operating!  Hours Friday:  10 am to 3 pm Saturday:  10 am to 3 pm Sunday: 10 am to 3 pm Monday: CLOSED Tuesday: CLOSED Wednesday: CLOSED Thursday: CLOSED &#226&#128&#139 Weekday appointments may be available.  We are a small staff and do our best to accommodate your needs. **Note that during COVID, we are not holding open houses on any day. Please email us for an appointment and include your application (found on our website, beaglesandbuddies.com, under "Forms"). Most appointments will be Friday through Sunday, though other days may also be available. We usually schedule one appointment per hour. Allow 1-2 hours for your appointment. Not good with cats,
Story
Sirius is 2 years old and 65-70 lbs. He looks like a Foxhound. He's affectionate and energetic. He can be food aggressive. The shelter he came from said he can be uncomfortable with other dogs. He's relaxing and we'll get him socializing with others and used to others his size....it's in his nature to be part of a pack. Check back for progress reports....  He is incredibly handsome and shows a lot of animation in a big playground by himself.  Submits - lying on his back.  Pretty cool guy - diamond in the ruff....*Note that young dogs and pure breeds are at the highest end of our prices.* Please find our applications and valuable information under  "Adopt a dog"* on our website:  *www.beaglesandbuddies.com* and email your application to beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com. Let us know your preference of appointment day/time and which dogs you are interested in and we will do our best to accommodate and email you the closest appointment available.
