Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Reno - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hello all you fabulous people out there. My name is Reno and I'm looking for a home, a family...one to call my very own!! I was pulled from the local shelter where I've spent 4 out of the 6 months of my life. I've never had a family before and I keep hearing how this thing is sooooo pawsome!! And, since you're reading this could it possibly be that... YOU will be my family?!! I am a very sweet fella that enjoys all things puppy. I love exploring this big ole world, playing with the other pups here at my foster home, getting lovins from my people, playing in the water, going for walks, you know...anything puppy!! I adore my people both tall and small, I love playing with the other pups and although I haven't met any of those creatures y'all call a cat yet, at my tender age with proper introductions, I should do great with them too. I'm about 6 months of age and come in around 20ish lbs so I should be a great mediumish size when I get myself fully growed up. That's the perfect size for sharing in ALL your adventures from the mundane daily to the weekend exciting, everything that includes us doing them together!! I've got those fabulous classic handsome good looks that will have heads turning, for sure!! Sweetness galore, adventurous and playful, I would love to be your lil lump of clay to be molded into your bestest friend. I am so ready to be that lil heartbeat at your feet so please stop scrolling and fill out my adoption application. It can be found at haydudeequine.org

Story
Molly is our 3-legged go-getter! Don’t let her 3 legs fool you, this girl is full of energy and life. She is always on the go and loves to be active. Fantastic movement. Sometimes you see her, and sometimes you don’t. Molly has been owned but unfortunately her owners can no longer care for her. As a teenager, she got out of the house and was hit by a car. The owners rushed her to the vet, but the leg was unable to saved. You’d never know she only had 3 legs the way she moves! Molly is quite short, a beagle-like body but is ‘stout’. She weighs about 38 lbs and was born December 12, 2022 (so right under 2 years old). She has 1 blue eye and 1 amber eye – don’t worry, she has great vision. When she looks at you her eyes just glisten, they’re gorgeous. Molly is house trained, and crate trained. This sweet girl LOVES other dogs and would do fantastic in a home with them as she loves to run around and play. If no other dogs in the home, we strongly suggest somebody that is more active and that enjoys going on adventures, hikes or just long walks around the neighborhood. She is a people pleaser and is very loyal. She will follow you around and be your shadow, right by your side. She knows commands and learns quickly to new ones. Molly is VERY food and treat motivated and will do anything for a yummy treat. In her previous home she was around children, and she loved them! The kids always played with her, and they tired each other out. Molly is leash trained. An ideal home for Molly would be one that is more active and wants a dog that can join in that activity. She loves everyone she meets, she’s always been a house dog, and she is all around just a super playful, super loving, and a super best friend for the perfect family/person. Molly is spayed, heart worm negative, current on vaccinations, current on preventions, microchipped and will have a health certificate giving her a clean bill of health from a veterinarian. You can apply to adopt Molly at www.pawsitive-impact-animal-rescue.org

Story
Meet Daisy, a very sweet, young girl looking for a new start. She was dumped in rural central Arkansas, and has lived outdoors ever since. Assumed from her very shy disposition, she was probably abused. Now she is slow to trust, especially with men, but is preciously sweet once you earn it. She is immediately warm with children, and likes to play with the local kids. Daisy also gets along well with other dogs, but not so much with cats--she likes to chase them. Daisy is well suited for a family with children and dogs, and a yard in a peaceful setting. She is just waiting to meet you - submit an application to arrange a visitation!

Story
Our Sadie, is actually my daughter’s dog, who she promised she would take care of, and she hasn’t, and she’s leaving earlier for college than we initially thought, starting in a few weeks. We need to rehome her as soon as possible and thought we’d check with the dog people we know in our search for her new home. We aren’t from here and don’t know a lot of people here locally. She is probably 40-ish pounds, is AMAZING with kids of all ages (we have 5 kids ages 3-19 and she is great with all of them). She has a very gentle temperament, has been kept inside to sleep but really loves being outside during the day. If you know anyone interested, please let me know! We are desperate to find a good home for her!!

Story
Our handsome Fabio is that exceptional, all around family dog, that is rare in rescue. He loves everybody and has not flinched at all during a rescue process that leaves lesser dogs rattled.  We've been trying to piece together Fabio’s backstory, but there's not much to go on. He was found as a country stray, by Animal Control Officers in Charlotte County, North Carolina. Vets say that he is a two year old adult dog.  When no worried owner came forward to collect Fabio, he was transferred to our Connecticut Rescue so that we could script the next chapter of his life.  Throughout the chaotic rescue process, Fabio has been an absolute charmer. He is so full of life, love and personality. He is a gentle, sweet boy who loves everyone. Fabio still has a bit of the puppy Mojo going on, but he is easily exercised with a few daily leash walks. He is a super dog that would do well in any type of environment. Fabio needs a fair amount of exercise and focused playtime so that he does not become bored and get into mischief. He would benefit greatly from ongoing obedience training, which is helpful in providing additional mental stimulation. He is learning his commands, although he can become distracted easily, but he is treat motivated. He responds well to Positive Reinforcement and Leadership techniques, and seems to enjoy his training sessions. He seems to be a confident boy, ready and willing to work. Fabio has good house manners, and is house trained and crate trained. Adopters should expect to troubleshoot the occasional accident that will inevitably occur during his transition to a new home. He has been neutered, and has received routine vaccinations and health screenings. If you are interested in Fabio, please write to Angelsfrgod@aol.com or call or text Denise at 860-908- 9738 for more info.

Story
Willa and Watson (siblings) came from the Brookhaven pound. We saw them on Face Book. The Brookhaven pound was going to put these puppies down because they were so shy. They couldn’t find a rescue group to take them. We decided to help them. They are super sweet, but they are very shy. Walter is not as shy as Willa. They feel very comfortable in their environment, but when taken to the vet, they do get nervous. They do respond to love, but they need somebody that will spend time with them. Because we are so overcrowded, they have never had an opportunity to live in the house. They were heavily bonded at the foster’s house, and they loved to play together. The foster did not spend any time with them, but the children played with them some in the fenced in area. They play well with other dogs, but they have never been around cats. Since they have been at Blue Ribbon Kennels, they have been in separate kennels for the past 13 months. They both need a special home with somebody that will spend a lot of time loving them, giving them a lot of attention and being patient with them. Please help Watson, and maybe even consider adopting both of them! Willa and Watson are in Mississippi. Rescue Rides is a very reliable pet transport and will transport Watson to his new home. This is included in the adoption fee.
