Spanky is a six-seven year old American Foxhound mix that is very loyal and follows his family room to room just waiting for the opportunity to share his love. His current living situation has changed and he has moved into a new environment where the resident older Chiweenie has decided she is not comfortable with larger dogs. Spanky loves toys and loves to carry around his blanket in his mouth. He does well with housetraining and is eager to please. He is also a cuddler and snuggler. He's a hunk of love! Spanky is active but once his energy is expelled he calms right down to watch a movie and chill with you. He has a shy side so he might be overwhelmed but a chaotic environment. Hello, my name is Terra. I am a precious girl, sweet as a sugar, but as playful as can be. I am always happy to see you. I am loving life. My new family has to like a girl with a lot of energy. My new family I would like to hike, go to the beach, go camping, and love to play in the backyard. But more importantly, treat me like family and not something to throw into the backyard and forget.My original family kept me tied up with little water and even a smaller amount of shade. The lady who rescued me along with my friends Jasper and Osa knew I did not have any chance of surviving. So, like she has with so many human parents, go up and demand I am released. Not just because it was right, but because she knew it would be saving my life.Happily, 2 years ago I was surrendered to my rescuerer's rescue. Today everything is forgotten. But for sure, I want my own family. It does not matter if they have a fur sibling for me or not. I will bring so much joy and many hours of happiness. adoption donation : $750 weight 45 lbs Age: 1 year Tippy has the distinction of being the favorite dog at the rescue and there are A LOT of dogs! Tippy is sweet, friendly and playful and very smart. Tippy gets along with everyone he meets, he loves to play with the other dogs at the rescue, he follows his foster mom around, tail wagging. If she calls him, tippy comes running! Tippy absolutely loves water, he spends his summer days splashing in and out of the plastic baby pool! Tippy was relinquished to the rescue when his family moved away and wasn’t able to take him. He has had his vaccination and has been neutered and isa healthy and happy boy who will make a wonderful companion to the lucky family who adopts him. Please note that Wags of Monroe county is a struggling 501(c) 3 volunteer organization where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs. Wags desperately need to raise funds to help the sick and older dogs at the rescue. Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Introducing Gomez, an adorable 10-month-old American Foxhound/Chinese Crested mix with a unique Foxl3 hairless gene. He will never shed! 😍 Gomez is already crate trained and is showing great progress with house training. He eagerly awaits your arrival home and has a slight habit of getting overly excited, but he quickly settles down. Gomez is an overall calm and well-behaved companion, who loves nothing more than snuggling up with his person on the sofa to watch television. He is incredibly friendly towards cats and other dogs, making him a great fit for multi-pet households. However, due to his exuberant nature, it's recommended that he be placed in a home with older children to prevent any accidental knocks or bumps with toddlers. Gomez is neutered, microchipped, and UTD on vaccinations.
