Meet Flannery! Flannery has never met a person she doesn’t love! She is great with everyone - including kids! She's also great on walks, loves car rides, and at 60 lbs she thinks she is a lap dog. She is house trained and is not destructive when left uncrated. Her foster home has another hound dog her size and they are good buddies. A fenced in yard would be ideal for Flannery. She loves to get up first thing in the morning and run and play in the fenced in back yard with her foster brother. If a yard is not possible, she would do best with a couple walks throughout the day. No cats for Flannery! Fill out an application at www.maggiesmissionrescue.org

Looking for a dog who is smart and sensitive? Finnegan could be your guy -- he is a gentle soul and very smart. Finnegan responds well to gentle corrections and is a good communicator. He'll pick up his food bowl if hungry and is bell-trained to tell you when he wants to go out. He is very affectionate and enjoys his zoomies, frisbees and catching a ball. Once he's done playing, he settles down very quickly. He's good in the car, and always ready to hop in for a ride! Fill out an application at www.maggiesmissionrescue.org

Story
We adopted Daisy over a year ago from an animal shelter. She was found as a stray is estimated to be about 7 years old. She has bad allergies and has required frequent vet visits. Currently she is on Prednisone daily for it. She has a thyroid condition which she takes a med twice a day. She gets frequent ear infections, I was told due to the allergies. She is getting Atipivot mousse for her skin daily to help prevent infections. Her last check up it was found she may have Lyme disease. Despite all the medical needs, she's a sweet dog and listens well. Her favorite thing to do is lie on the couch with a bone. She's a hound dog so she does bark quite a bit outside and loves food. Unfortunately we can't afford her anymore, we are down to one income. Our cats have still not accepted her (she's curious and scared of them) which is another reason we can no longer keep her.She is good with other dogs.
