  adoption donation : $750 weight 45 lbs Age: 1 year  Tippy has the distinction of being the favorite dog at the rescue and there are A LOT of dogs! Tippy is sweet, friendly and playful and very smart.  Tippy gets along with everyone he meets, he loves to play with the other dogs at the rescue, he follows his foster mom  around, tail wagging. If she calls him, tippy comes running!   Tippy absolutely loves water, he spends his summer days splashing  in and out of the plastic baby pool!     Tippy was relinquished to the rescue when his family moved away and wasn’t able to take him. He has had his vaccination and has been neutered and isa healthy and happy boy who will make a wonderful companion to the lucky family who adopts him.     Please note that Wags of Monroe county is a struggling 501(c) 3 volunteer organization where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs. Wags desperately need to raise funds to help the sick and older dogs at the rescue. Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. When Irish eyes are smiling, does that mean they are happy? Or maybe they had too many pints at the pub? My eyes are smiling, and I am a non drinker, just want to have full disclosure here! Even though my eyes were smiling in these pictures. I was desperate for help for my little one, Lewis. You see, he was dying...full of internal and external parasites he really had no fight left in him and I knew it as his mother... so I used my Irish eyes to get us saved. AND IT WORKED!! Our lives are do amazing now, Lewis is alive and well after some very intense care, and ADOPTED INTO AN AMAZING HOME!!! I am not ever producing more babies, so it is all good! Now I get my turn for love, comfort and safety and a FOREVER HOME!! I am an adorable girl, about 50# of low-rider basset/heeler-ness. I am great with other dogs and like to play keep away! I am ready when you are, do your stuff so we can ride off into the sunset, in air conditioning, of course!
