Story
Moonpie is an absolute doll, who has been exceptionally well-behaved and sweet in her foster home. She gets along with dogs, cats, and people. She is very small and dainty, but don't let that fool you! She is actually a bit of a little tom-gal. Pie would benefit from having a large secure fenced in yard, and needs the opportunity to run some of her energy out. Extremely cuddly, she is ready to sleep right next to you curled up in a little ball. She loves toys, and INSISTS upon going on walks, and making her desires well-known to her people. Crate trained, leash trained, and houstrained, this little lady has never had an accident in her foster's house, and minds her manners when it comes to "kenneling up." We see Pie in a home with active owner(s) and a fenced yard. She prefers a home with no kids, although she is ok with children, just a bit unsure of them.

Story
Hi all, I'm Franky! I'm still getting used to having a name, since not long ago I was only seen as a number. I lived my whole life being used for toxicity tests and living without the comfort of a warm bed. Luckily BFP came, and now I'm part of the Freedom Fields family! Due to my past, I am shy and still nervous around people. I am looking for a family that is kind and patient with me as I learn to trust and how to be a dog. I'd also prefer to have a friend in my home that can help teach me. I can't wait to experience my new life with my forever family! If you are interested in adopting me , please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/rescue/ and email us with questions: adopt@bfp.org. Location: SAN ANTONIO, TX

Meet sweet Daisy. She is a beautiful 5 year old hound mix. She has gorgeous long legs and a stunning coat. She came to us when her owner fell ill and was unable to care for as she needs. So she is with us hoping for a second chance where she can be loved the way she was for most of her 5 years. We can vouch for the fact that she is as sweet and gentle as she looks. Come meet her - you will fall in love with her like we have...Adopt from MCASAll of our dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (and treated if positive), microchipped, and current on all vaccinations. We are open 7 days a week 12pm to 5pm for adoptions, no appointment necessary!Adoption Center: 931-375-1402If you would like more information about this dog, please contact our volunteer coordinator, Kim, at kraffauf@gmail.com

When Irish eyes are smiling, does that mean they are happy? Or maybe they had too many pints at the pub? My eyes are smiling, and I am a non drinker, just want to have full disclosure here! Even though my eyes were smiling in these pictures. I was desperate for help for my little one, Lewis. You see, he was dying...full of internal and external parasites he really had no fight left in him and I knew it as his mother... so I used my Irish eyes to get us saved. AND IT WORKED!! Our lives are do amazing now, Lewis is alive and well after some very intense care, and ADOPTED INTO AN AMAZING HOME!!! I am not ever producing more babies, so it is all good! Now I get my turn for love, comfort and safety and a FOREVER HOME!! I am an adorable girl, about 50# of low-rider basset/heeler-ness. I am great with other dogs and like to play keep away! I am ready when you are, do your stuff so we can ride off into the sunset, in air conditioning, of course! Story
Paul is your quintessential coonhound pal, who is one big dopey baby- Saved from a high kill rural Virginia shelter literally JUST in time, he is enjoying life on a couch in his foster home, sharing the house with a one year old human and his parents. He gets along great with the other dogs in the home. Paul loves cuddling with his family in the bed, and has the big coonhound voice. He likes toys and playtime in the yard. He is obsessed with dog tv shows and couch lounging. Paul is house trained, neutered, and up to date on shots. Email Jennyfiddle@yahoo.com and tell us a bit about your household, hound and dog experience, and how you will accommodate Paul into your home. Story
Goofy Gus was hanging out in a shelter just north of Nashville, where his chances were looking a bit slim. He is now fully embracing cozy house life at his foster's house in Nashville, where he gets to sing along with all the other musicians in town. He is a big Cadillac of a coonhound, who should weigh in at 70 lbs once he has gained the weight he needs. A large, dopey, goofy boy, he has the BEST puppy dog sad eyes and face, but he quickly waggles his whole body and gives his humans grunts, smiles, and kisses. He is literally the cuddliest coonhound we have ever been around.... He walks GREAT on a leash and would love to explore both city and woods on leash with you. Gus also loves to lay around in the sun and shade, but would love an active family who has a large 6-8 ft fenced in yard.
