Story
Merle is a French bulldog mix girl. @3 years old and 27 lbs. Blue merle coloring. House trained, alpha female - bossy with very small dogs* and children.  Very sweet and loves to cuddle with her people. *She took a leadership role with the Frenchie pups - immediately started teaching them important things...so cute! Found as a stray with staffy Samson. She is good with large male submissive dogs. Though when another dog is being petted she wants all the attention for herself! She is spayed and UTD on her shots.  Also check out Cinderella, a medium sized Frenchie/Bully x who needs more good fortune to come her way.*Note that young dogs and pure breeds are at the highest end of our prices.* Please find our applications and valuable information under  "Adopt a dog"* on our website:  *www.beaglesandbuddies.com* and email your application to beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com. Let us know your preference of appointment day/time and which dogs you are interested in and we will do our best to accommodate and email you the closest appointment available. Please allow us up to a week to get back to you. Most appointments will be Friday-Sunday, 10 am - 2 pm, for an hour. *Note bring any other dog/s and the entire family to your meet and greet at B&B.* A complimentary training manual is included with each adoption, authored by terristeuben.com. Check out her website - she is fabulous! B&B is glad to be open during the pandemic. We know the value and comfort of a loving pet companion and are doing our best to help the dogs and folks who need them. We update our website daily and are always rescuing, vetting, rehabilitating, socializing. &#226&#128&#139 Are you my furrever family? For further info on the adoption process, please visit our home page and check out the "Adopt a Dog" section, which has thorough instructions.  All our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and  fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.   Our prices are higher than the shelters' because we nurse the dogs through their illnesses and get them needed surgeries and dentals. We also spend time socializing. Furthermore, unlike shelters, rescues do not get financial aid from the government and must rely on donations, grants, and adoption fees. Our fees for adults start at $150 and usually go up to $750. Young adults that are high in demand may be a little over $750.00. For puppies and purebreds, we charge up to $1000. The lower end is for dogs who have been here a while. The good news is that, because rescues fall under the "charity" category, the fees for our dogs are officially donations and are therefore tax deductible. You can think of it as donating to a worthy cause and getting a dog in return!  Sponsor Me Beagles & Buddies must find ways to raise money so we can continue saving dogs. Your tax-deductible donation keeps our rescue kennel operating!  Hours Friday:  10 am to 3 pm Saturday:  10 am to 3 pm Sunday: 10 am to 3 pm Monday: CLOSED Tuesday: CLOSED Wednesday: CLOSED Thursday: CLOSED &#226&#128&#139 Weekday appointments may be available.  We are a small staff and do our best to accommodate your needs. **Note that during COVID, we are not holding open houses on any day. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Our Tammy went to the Vet today for her last vaccine. We also had her checked for allergies. Doc doesn't think it's serious but gave her a little something for that too. Soooo ... this mama is ready for her forever home.  Tammy came to us in June through a partner rescue after she ended up at the shelter sick. She had just given birth to a litter of pups when her owner (we think a backyard breeder) dumped her in an emergency room in distress. The Vet saved her and the owner disappeared. We took her in even though we are full - just like every other rescue! Tammy is a love bug, but can be little bossy. She gets along with other dogs, she's house trained, uses the doggy door, and likes car rides and short walks. She loves to play with balls, other toys not so much. Our Vet estimated Tammy to be 4 years old. She has been spayed, vaccinated, and chipped. Interested in our girl, or any other of our dogs, apply here: Apply here: http://www.causeforsbpaws.org/forms/form?formid=3251  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 6, 2024, 10:24 pm

The adoption fee is a tax-deductible donation to our 501c3 rescue and includes vaccines, worming microchips, and spaying/neutering. Meet and greets will only be scheduled after a completed and signed application is submitted. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis...We do our homework and ensure the home is the best possible situation for the pet based on breed specifics and the lifestyle of the potential home. Breed descriptions are the best guess since we do not know both parents... One Mutt at a Time does our best to establish possible breed mixes using our experience in consultation with our vet. We make no guarantees to breed combinations unless we know both parents. This is a mixed breed dog of unknown origin unless otherwise stated.
