Story
Meet Pork Roll! Pork Roll lives up to her name: she’s built like an egg roll and she snorts like a pig. Pork Roll came to us from puppy mill country. She likely has lived her life up until now in a small enclosure. She came to her foster home not knowing how to walk on a leash, not knowing how to walk up/down stairs, and being very startled by loud noises. She had definitely never had a bath or been brushed out before, she loved being brushed out but the bath she could’ve done without ;-) Pork Roll is absolutely fantastic with kids. She adores the toddler in her foster home. She’s also great with her foster’s other dogs and cats! She is learning how to play with toys—she really enjoys rubber Kong type toys. She doesn’t know how to chew on bones, rawhides, etc. She is crate trained. We think Pork Roll is a French Bulldog / Pug mix. Maybe with something else in there?? She’s approx 35 lbs., wide, short, and a short little stubby tail. Her fur feels (and sheds) like Pug fur. When she eats and drinks, she sounds like a pig. Pork Roll is absolutely precious. She is a really, really great little dog. Pork Roll will be spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm tested prior to adoption. You can apply for Pork Roll at www.adoptapitrescue.org. Pork Roll’s adoption donation is $350. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
