Opal is both beautiful and sweet, but we have learned that the best home for her would be with a single woman with no other pets. Opal loves her human completely and she simply doesn’t want to share. She is extremely possessive. Not to the point where she bites but she growls and barks a lot and that does not make for a peaceful home life for anyone. Opal is fun and playful and affectionate with her person. She loves to go for walks and rides in the car and she’s good with other dogs as long as her person doesn’t want to love on them. Then she growls them away. Opal is spayed, UTD required vaccines and his heartworm negative. She is house trained, but might have an accident or two until she settles in. We just have to find that “right“ home for this precious girl. She would truly be someone’s very best friend. Meet Claude..... What a Gorgeous Guy Claude and his brother were pulled from a puppy mill in Iowa. The mill had a hard time selling them, their size and coloring was not a big hit for a private sales or pet store sales. Claude is a 13 week old male French Bull dog. He is a full shedding pup. He is larger than most frenchies at this age. His current weight is around 13 pounds. We estimate his full growth weight to be around 30 pounds. Claude is a dark brindle color. It's hard to see his coloring in the pics. He is not all black. He is very social, outgoing and playful. He is alot of fun.... Any potential adopter should do some research on the breed before applying. Frenchies are not always the easiest breed to deal with. Claude will be great with kids and other dogs. He will require lots of exercise and stimulation. Using a wee wee pad and the outdoors for potty training. Phil is looking for a very special understanding home! This 9 month old Frenchie was surrendered to a local shelter when his owners couldn't meet his needs. We have had extensive diagnostics done to get to the bottom of his chronic diarrhea issues and he does have fairly severe IBD which will require lifelong care to manage- medications and a strict prescription diet. He's improved but it's going to be a trial and error process under the care of vets because of the severity of is issue. We are waiting on a recheck and further results but he is suspected to have some chronic irritable bowel type issues, and already improved greatly on a special prescription diet and medications. We are hoping to find little Phil a local home where he can be monitored and follow up with our vet. Phil can be a little standoffish at first and undersocialized but a fun playful puppy once he bonds. He's at that adolescent stage where he can be a bit of a brat testing boundaries at times and needs some training and an adult household to continue to work with him. Lola is approx. 3 years old and was found abandoned in a laundromat back in November. Her history prior to this date is unknown. A recent rehoming did not work out due to allergies and the new owner's lack of desire to work with a dog that likely experienced prior trauma. Her only issue is that she was never potty trained but has learned to use the bathroom on potty pads in her play area. She is also starting to show progress in outdoor potty usage. Lola is affectionate, non-aggressive, and lived for two months in a household with two cats and another dog. She would do best in a household with another dog and someone willing to work with her in improving her bathroom habits. A current or prior owner of a French bulldog would be preferred. If your interest is simply to have a French bulldog, then Lola is not the correct pet for you. She would do best in a quiet household with other pets (preferably dogs) and someone who will have time to take her for walks, which she enjoys.
