Story
I had Loki since he was 5 weeks old, He is an energetic and loving dog with a sweet heart. He has been with me through thick and thin, the first place we lived he was an inside outside dog. But since moving he had to be more of an outside dog but still was inside due to my dads rules for the house. Im going off to college and won’t have the time to care for him the way that he deserves. He’s very playful and so loving and friendly, I just want to find someone that can care for him and give him everything that he needs.

These pups are in Bothell, Washington too!

Story
Animal Profile: Remy is an adorable purebred Miniature Pinscher who is estimated to be around 3 years old and weighs 13lbs. He would up in a southern California shelter after he was brought into a local emergency vet after he was possibly hit by a car. Remy was treated for possible fractured ribs when he arrived at the shelter, but has since recovered. He is very friendly with people and other dogs, and we look forward to helping him find the best home here in the PNW! Foster Update: Rembrandt (or Remy) can be shy with humans at first, but is friendly and affectionate and enjoys belly rubs once he warms up. Like most little dogs, Remy does not appreciate when humans stick their giant hands out his tiny head.  He’ll submit and let you pick him up still, but a little shy if reached or grabbed at too fast. Remy  loves to play fetch inside with soft toys. He can do it next to other dogs or one on one with a human. He is clear to be homed with cats. He loves being outside and gets extra excited when he sees a bird, so some prey drive exists, but not towards cats. He sleeps through the night in his crate and only whistle whines a bit when first put inside. He does cuddle once he gets some fetch zoomies out of his system. Remy is friendly with dogs and humans, but we would prefer to place him in a home with no kids or older children (10+).  Marking indoors has been an issue with Remy in his foster home; we are hopeful that after his recent neuter, this behavior resolves with consistency. Remy should always go out to go potty when coming out of his crate and closely monitored to make sure that he doesn't practice marking.  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, andhealth certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was rescued from euthanasia at SBC in California, arriving to foster care in Seattle on 02/13/25.  This dog will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.March 13, 2025, 12:47 am
