Meet Cash, an approximately 1-year-old male German Shepherd mix. Cash came to the shelter with her friend, Rhode, and is now looking for a new home. Cash has a really fun personality! He needs a minute to warm up, but then he is great with people. He does really well with his friend, Rhode, but a meet and greet will be necessary if you have any other dogs in the home. Cash has the sweetest face and a personality to match it, we just know he is going to be a great dog for someone. Cash is neutered and UTD on his Bordetella, DAPP and Rabies vaccination. If you are interested in meeting Cash, please call the shelter at 928-636-4223, ext. 7 to set up an appointment!

Story
Rico is a sweet, lovable boy who is all about pleasing his humans. With his big heart and even bigger personality, Rico is looking for a forever home where he can share his love and joy. Rico is a well-mannered pup who knows how to keep his cool. He's not a barker, fence jumper, or digger, making him a great companion for any household. While Rico might jump up to greet you when you first meet, he's easily corrected and just wants to show his enthusiasm and affection. Once he knows what you want, Rico is eager to please and quickly becomes a well-behaved buddy. Rico has already mastered several commands, including "wait," "sit," "shake," and "go to bed." He's a quick learner and enjoys the mental stimulation that comes with training. Rico also loves car rides and easily gets into the vehicle, ready for any adventure that comes his way. Rico would thrive in a home where he can get plenty of attention and affection. His ideal family would appreciate his playful, gangly nature and provide him with consistent training and exercise. FOSTER'S NOTES: Rico has many wonderful qualities. He sleeps through the entire night. I am grateful for that. He puts himself to bed if he thinks I am up too late! He WATCHES television and goes right up to the screen from his chair for ALL dogs. Don't miss out on the chance to bring this sweet and eager-to-please boy into your family. Adopt Rico today and enjoy the unconditional love and joy he has to offer! Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard. If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home. HOW TO APPLY: From Petfinder.com The fastest way to get to the adoptable dog page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-dogs/ When you are on the UAF website Select "Adoptable Dogs" and pick the dog you are interested in. To apply to adopt, go into the dog's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started. You could be a life saver! Help us save more lives by fostering a dog or cat. Story
Ollie is a happy fella. He is about 1-1/2 years old and weighs around 80lbs. He loves to run around the yard and play tug and a half-way fetch game. He is house trained and very affectionate. He needs a home where someone can spend time with him and give him a lot of exercise and discipline. He is very smart! He is good with other dogs, but wants to be the Alpha. He would not be good on a farm, but a big yard on his own or with a dog friend would be great as he is young and active. Ollie was adopted from High Country Humane in Flagstaff, AZ. He has been with us for about 5 weeks. We thought he would be good around the chickens, but he is too much of a predator for that. But he is a very good dog, just not right to be on a farm so we have decided he needs to be re-homed ASAP as we do not want him to be attached to us and our farm dog.
