Breed: German Shepherd X DOB: 11/2011 Gender: female Altered: yes Coat: long Size: large Color(s): light tan / black Description:Hi, I'm Roxy, a beautiful German Shepherd X who is in need of a new home as three indoor cats are coming to live in the home and I am not good with cats. I also do not get along with other dogs, small animals or birds. I need to be your one and only.I enjoy my hips scratched, my chest rubbed, daily morning walks (I use a harness.) and Pupperoni treats. I don't care for biscuit treats much. I seem to like people and children as long as I don't feel threatened by them. The 4th of July is not my favorite holiday as fireworks scare me.I know people will pass me by due to my age and all the things I don't care for, but I hope there is someone who will see me for the special dog that I am. Please fill out an online application if you want to meet me.August 19, 2024, 7:36 pm

Breed: German Shepherd X DOB: 11/22/2019 Gender: female Altered: yes Coat: medium Size: large Color(s): brown/black little white on chest Description: Hi, I'm Cali, a beautiful German Shepherd X in need of a new home as my owner is deploying and I cannot go too. Thankfully CARL has accepted me into their adoption program and will help me find a new home. I'm good with children and people, but skittish with other dogs. It's unknown how I'd do with cats. I've had formal training and know basic commands. I enjoy playing fetch and snuggling. The best home for me would be with older children and as the only dog. If you're interested in meeting me, please fill out an online application to meet me. *Thank you to Sharon for sponsoring this wonderful dog at the Burnice Kraemer Sanctuary and giving her the chance for a better life. Available to foster or adopt!Breed: German Shepherd X DOB: 2/2020 Gender: male Altered: yes Coat: medium Size: large Color(s): black/brown Description: ***Needs a Foster Home*** This dog is in need of a foster home as well as a permanent home. If you are interested in fostering please fill out an online application. Hi, I'm Icarus, a handsome German Shepherd X rescued from Animal Services. I'm grateful to my sponsor for making it possible for me to come into the CARL program and for giving me another chance at finding my forever home. It was noted at Animal Services that I loved squeaky toys and tummy rubs! I had been responding well to leash training with their staff and volunteers. They thought the best home for me would be adult only with no other dogs and generally minimal contact with other dogs. If you're interested in meeting me, please fill out an online application. *Thank you to Sharon for sponsoring this wonderful dog at the Burnice Kraemer Sanctuary and giving him the chance for a better life. Story
HI - I'M MIKO! I'm a handsome, loyal and quiet 6-year-old male black German Shepherd mix in need of a home! I was surrendered at a high-kill shelter by my owner as they did not want to pay for a dog license. :( I am a sweet and loving dog with people, but am a bit timid with other dogs, possibly due to my sad history. I would do best in a quiet home, with a caring person or people, in a nice peaceful neighborhood. I am currently looking for a foster or forever home, and I weigh 65 pounds.

Story
HI - I'M TASHA! I am a sweet and shy 9-year-old German Shepherd in need a foster or forever home! I've waited for awhile (over a year!) and keep getting overlooked. I am a loving, dog-friendly girl who was rescued from a California shelter. I was kenneled with other dogs while there. But I am not good with chickens! I love to be with people and would do best in a home with my person or people around me. I love to go for walks and even hikes, and I also love to relax and hang out. I'm very much a fan of being outdoors and so a nice yard would be a plus. I weigh about 68 lbs. Can you foster or adopt me? Please email for an application.

Story
Hello there, future paw-rent! My name is Xena, but they also call me "Brandy" at the shelter. You see, I've had a bit of a rough start in life, but I'm ready to find my forever home, and I'm speaking to you directly from my heart.Shelter life can be a bit overwhelming, and it took me some time to adjust. At first, I might seem a bit jumpy when we meet, but don't let that discourage you. I've come a long way since my first day here, and I've got a lot of love to give. One of my absolute favorite things is going for walks. There's something about exploring the world and feeling the wind on my fur that brings me so much joy. While I adore these outings, I do have to admit that I can be a bit dog-aggressive towards my fellow canines. It's just that I need a little time and maybe a few meet-and-greets with someone who's willing to be patient and understanding as I work on my social skills.Trust is a big deal for me, but once I build that bond, I promise I'm a great dog. I'm a big fan of treats, and they're an excellent way to win me over and reward me for my progress.I did have some trust issues with leads when I first arrived, but I've improved a lot. Now, I can get on my lead without any trouble, and I'm ready to embark on adventures with you. When you see me wagging my tail and flashing my sweetest smiles, you'll know that I'm truly opening up and feeling happy.I'm still a little jumpy when it comes to being pet, but I'm determined to overcome this. With your patience and love, I believe we can work through it together. So, if you're willing to invest some time and patience into helping me build trust, I promise I'll be the most loyal and loving companion you could ever ask for. Let's embark on this journey together, one treat at a time. If you're up for the challenge, I'm ready to be your loyal Brandy. Please consider giving me a chance to be your faithful four-legged friend.

Hey Everyone, my name is Jax!I can be shy with new people and may take some time to warm up. My favorite game is the sit game! when the nice SPARC staff asks me to sit, I get a treat and boy do I LOVE treats! I prefer a nice relaxing home where i can kick back and relax! Too much noise can make me a bit overstimulated so I would not be suited for a home with kids I also prefer to be the center of attention so I would love to be your one and only fury friend in the home! Come stop by! I would love to meet you!

Story
HI -I'M NOMI! I'm a 5-year-old beautiful Dutch Shepherd mix in need of a foster or forever home. My name means "beautiful" and "delightful" and it is so fitting, because I have a gorgeous brindle coat and an endearing face. I was rescued from a California shelter, and now have been waiting patiently for someone to notice me! I am gentle with people, and am friendly with most dogs, though I can get jealous at times. I would probably thrive as an only dog where I could get all of the attention, or hang out with a submissive male. I weigh 62 pounds. I would love a new home this summer! Can you foster or adopt me? Please email for an application.
