Story
Must love dogs! I’m not speaking to the humans, I’m talking to your pets.   Daisy Mae is a loveable girl who has never met a dog that she doesn’t like.  She even gets along with the foster cat sharing her home.  She loves to play with dogs of all sizes and can self entertain with all kinds of toys.  She also loves chasing bubbles.  Daisy Mae is a demure pup who needs a calm home that will give her time to adjust.  Big noises sometimes scare her.  Once her confidence is up she will love her people and ask for all the belly rubs.   She had lived in a shelter since September until pulled into foster care recently.  Daisy Mae has quickly learned how to live the good life.  She is crate trained, potty trained with a doggie door, trusted to stay loose in the home when her foster parents are at work, and she loves to cuddle at night.  She also walks great on lease. If you are willing to give Daisy Mae time to adjust you will get a great, loyal, fun dog to take you on walks and give your animals an instant new fur sister. Breed: German Shepherd mix Sex: Spayed Female Age: 1 year, 2 months Size: 38 lbs Arrival Date: 3-1-25 Daisy Mae is up to date on shots, microchipped, heartworm tested negative and spayed. If you would like to meet Daisy Mae, please email ResQpaws at info@resqpaws.org or call 530-713-9079 for more information. You can fill out an application on our website,  resqpaws.org.  Under the Applications tab is the Foster Dog Adoption Application. March 21, 2025, 9:07 pm

Story
We got Zen from the pound when she was a puppy. She's approximately 2 years old now. We are looking for a new home for her because we feel she would be happier in a family where she is the only dog, and/ or with older kids. Zen is food aggressive and resource guards like water and toys. We currently have a 4 year old golden retriever as well, which for the most part get along well when food and/ or toys are not present at home. They fulling get along on walks, in the pool, at the park; as long as there are not resources for Zen to guard. Overall she is a sweet girl and would do great in an active family that goes on long walks, visits parks, or anything outside. More about her and her personality: - Husky/German Shepherd mix. - Social - Potty Trained. - We’ve spent time training her, she knows: sit, stay, spin, drop it, shake, come, and leave it. - She is kennel trained. We’d love to meet people interested and give insight to Zen’s personality.

Story
This sweet girl came in with 3 of her sisters as young puppies. Their mom was rescued by a kind couple in Rosarito Mexico but they could not keep the puppies. The girls were such sweeties but are very timid. Molly is the last of the sisters still here waiting for their forever homes. She is the sweetest thing but very timid so she would do best with a calm and kind person with lots of patience and understanding.

Story
Silver came into the rescue with a badly injured rear leg. At his first vet visit it was discovered after imaging that he had actually been shot in the rear leg. Because of silver's young age the vet approximated the wound to have happened when he was around 4 months of age. Unfortunately the bullet fragmented a lot as well as completely destroyed the ability to surgically reconstruct it . In addition to all this the leg was badly infected because the wound was at least 6 months old already and never was cared for.He does use his rear leg to a degree and all the nerves seem to be intact. But he will have a limp for the rest of his life. He is the sweetest boy and loves getting attention and learning new skills.

Story
UPDATE: Due to My kids respiratory system getting worse and having to go to multiple ER visits and being allergic, I have had to resort to the shelter. His surrender is next Monday 3-31. I really hope someone sees this and takes Caesar into their home beforehand. My kids eyes were swollen shut last night and could barely breath due to being allergic. This is a very sad time for me so I hope someone reaches out. I have reached out to friends and family and no one will take him. Caesar has been my best friend through life’s ups and downs. Through my divorce and sobriety.. I recently got into a new relationship and have a new kid that is having respiratory issues due to pet dandruff. We give him wash him weekly and brush him daily and it’s not enough. We had to take our son to the ER a week ago. And he keeps having respiratory issues since. I really hope someone can help me rehome my loving dog. And keep me updated. Caesar is very affectionate when he gets used to people.
