Story
Blitz has a huge heart and a lot of love to give! This extremely protective fellow will be loyal to the last to his adoptive family. He's getting on in years and would love someone to give him a calm home where he can keep watch over his domain in a peaceful environment. Blitz gets along with most other dogs (including small dogs). He is house-trained and has excellent recall. One of his most endearing traits is his love of stuffed toys! He is quite strong and can be anxious, so an experienced adopter would be best. Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert. All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       August 18, 2024, 7:34 pm

Dancer has grown up here at the ranch so he is very well dog socialized. He absolutely loves making new canine pals! He may be a little shy when meeting new people but he warms up quickly and loves to cuddle! If this sweet boy sounds like the perfect match for you, come meet him today!   Puppy adoptions are $300. Most Rescue Ranch puppies are raised through our puppy foster program. Puppies will have met adults, children, often other dogs, maybe cats. Before going home, at minimum, all of our puppies will have received the first two puppy shots for parvo and distemper, and been dewormed. When they are at least 8 weeks old, puppies are given a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian. Puppies are also microchipped and registered with 24PetWatch . We require spay/neutering at 6-8 months old (or the appropriate age for giant breeds) by our veterinarian, when they will also be given their first rabies vaccine. Alternatively adopters can choose to have the procedure done by their own vet (proof required).

Story
Reggie is a wonderful boy and brings joy to those who meet him. Unfortunately I have a very busy work schedule and can’t give him the attention he needs. He is an active dog and loves walks, playing, and hikes. Very good guard dog and is very alert. Reggie does get bored while I’m at work and digs small holes in the backyard but nothing too crazy. He needs a family who can take him on walks daily and take him on hikes. Or a single person who needs a companion to take along with them on their adventures. Reggie does great with small male or female dogs and his size in female dogs. He is potty trained and has not had any accidents in the house. He loves having a doggy door to go outside. Can include that with his adoption if needed. He is great with people. Does get on alert when people walk by the fence in the backyard. Great with children. Is a little food aggressive so needs to be fed separately. Gets along great with my mini poodle mix.

These pups are in Yreka, California too!
