Story
We got ZZ from a breeder in Boca Raton as a puppy. He is now 2 years old and is looking for a loving home and family that can attend to his needs and beyond. Reason for us giving ZZ away is because owners are always working and does not have time to properly take care of him, and moving to a new home that only allows two dogs. He is not quite potty trained and has some issues with digestion (not exactly sure what). We feed him the same thing regularly (chicken with kibble) but sometimes his stool comes out watery or slimy. He is very shy towards people and is very wary of them. He can also be aggressive towards dogs he does not know. However, he usually just barks and walks away from other dogs. He is kept on a pronged-collar. As a pet, he’s very fun to play with, very quirky to say the least. He likes to rub his body along my legs when walking past and goes between my legs. He LOVES sticks and would pick them up on a walk and his favorite activity is playing fetch.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sweet Bella was stray who was found by a Good Samaritan in Miami-Dade.  She is estimated to be 2-3 years old & weighs 45 pounds.  She knows basic commands, walks well on leash, playful energy, loves car rides, is affectionate, potty trained and is well mannered.  She can get the zoomies & likes to play with toys.  As many dogs do, she gets anxious when undergoing medical examinations & treatment.  She reacted to other dogs in the kennel but has not been temperament tested.  She is currently in a foster home. She has good house manners, and is crate trained. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 12, 2025, 5:29 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Chaos is an energetic, playful, and loyal German Shepherd Dog.  Chaos can be extremely sweet and loving.  He is suspected to be around 2 years old! Chaos had been living out in the woods on his own for months when he was found, he was emaciated and struggling to trust humans.  He was terrified of loud sounds from cars and trucks to other dogs barking and very timid to meet new people. He is such a trooper though, after the first couple of weeks he was opening up. He began showing his intelligence and desire to learn, as well as sharing his strong personality! Chaos is now thriving with structure and training. He knows his basic commands (sit, place, stay, kennel, come) and has significantly improved his leash walking.  He has also shown better behavior walking.  Chaos needs a home that is going to continue to dedicate time to his training. He appears to be a working line shepherd, (seen in his drive and high energy levels) and needs an active family.  He will thrive in a home that continues to foster his learning, challenges him and engages him to meet his very high activity level, and provides a secure, loving environment.  He would fit best into a family with teenage children or older. As much as we can see that he wants to be social with other dogs, he is still working on his manners when being introduced to other dogs. We would love for him to be the only dog in the home so he can get individual attention and continue to grow. He is still working on remaining calm on his leash when he sees other dogs out and about. Chaos does likes to be the “boss” and when he doesn’t get his way, can be stubborn. This is why we stress training, as this is what has allowed him to bond with new people, build confidence and trust, and find comfort in a home.   He needs a home with a fenced in yard.  LOCATED IN PORT ST. LUCIE Meet Chaos! Chaos is an energetic, playful, and loyal German Shepherd Dog. He is suspected to be around 2 years old! Chaos had been living out in the woods on his own for most of his life. When he was found, he was emaciated and struggling to trust humans. Others had been trying to capture Chaos for over 10 months since he was spotted in the woods, but it wasn’t until November when he finally allowed someone to get close. He was terrified of loud sounds from cars and trucks to other dogs barking and very timid to meet new people. 10 months plus on the streets had obviously hindered him in his socialization. He is such a trooper though, that after the first couple of weeks he was opening up. He began showing his intelligence and desire to learn, as well as sharing his strong personality! Chaos is now thriving with structure and training. He knows his basic commands (sit, place, stay, kennel, come) and has significantly improved his leash walking with a training collar. He has shown better behavior walking and felt more comfortable with the use of the training collar along with consistent and loving leadership. Chaos needs a home that is going to continue to dedicate to his training. He appears to be a working line shepherd, (seen in his drive and high energy levels) and needs an active family. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Raven.  Raven was adopted from the shelter a few months ago.  Her owner then lost his job and was no longer able to properly able to care for her so she ended up back at the shelter.  After she arrived, the shelter contacted us and we picked her up. :) Raven is about a 1 year 4 months old.  She is a high energy girl who loves tennis balls.  She would do best in a home with a fenced in yard so she can run and play.  Although right now a little anxious, she is good in the car. Raven is a little nervous meeting new dogs but she is dog friendly.  Raven is spayed, heartworm negative and is up to date on all of her vaccinations. If interested in meeting Raven, please complete an application at www.shepherdhelp.org.  Raven  is located in West Palm Beach, Florida.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 30, 2025, 6:07 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Heartworm positiveSweet Gus was recently rescued from the Palm Beach County shelter.  He is still decompressing at our vet's office, but he is very sweet, friendly and affectionate.  We estimate he's 3-4 years old.  He is shy when first meeting people but warms quickly & loves to give kisses.  He is a very gentle soul.   Unfortunately, he is heartworm positive, but the rescue will take care of the heartworm treatment.  We would love to find him a home where he can be comfortable & loved while undergoing the heartworm treatment. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 21, 2025, 5:25 am
