Story
Derpy, lovable, good looks, and did we mention lovable! Perfect combo in our gorgeous Giselle or Mz. G. Mz. G is a 4 year old shepherd mix, looking for her perfect human. She is a sweet, sensitive soul who is loving and looking to please. A perfect home would be one that gives her the attention she craves and continued training that she thrives on. She is very gentle and her love language is physical touch as she loves to give lots of kisses and snuggle with her people. Her emotions can get the best of her when her humans first get home or when company is arriving, but she quickly calms down and can easily be redirected. Who doesn't get excited when someone they love is walking through the door though? She knows basic dog commands like sit and is working on stay. She walks great on a leash and doesn't need much for exercise. A backyard for zoomies is often her favorite playtime but she would not be a good running partner because she had hip surgery when she was 6 months old due to a congenital issue. Surgery was a success in the form of an FHO and it causes no issues now. She gets along well with both cats and dogs and is crate trained. And she even likes those two legged little people. Although due to her occasional excitement level, a home with older kids would be best. Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful animals, we ask that you please fill out our online application: https://form.jotform.com/223268341300041 We are a 100% volunteer organization and have to work other jobs to pay the bills. Please give us up to 48 hours to respond. Submission of an adoption application does not obligate you to adopt nor does it guarantee approval. We look forward to hearing from you.October 28, 2024, 12:16 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This sweet girl is Sigourney. Sigourney had a rough start in life and is working really hard to trust humans and navigate the big, scary world. She was about six months old when she was found on the side of the road weighing only 7 pounds and hours from leaving this world. We took her in and immediately went to work to save her. She spent a week in the emergency clinic fighting for her life. Sigourney is now 25 pounds and improving every day! She LOVES other dogs and would do best in a home with at least one other dog she can play with, look to for comfort, and help teach her how to be a dog. She's fine with cats. She has built a trusting bond with her female foster and is still working to build trust with the male in the house. Given how nervous she is, her preferred home would not have any small children, Sigourney is house and crate trained. She's working on her leash manners. Sigourney deserves a life of love, affection, and never being let down again! We believe she was born on or around 12/12/23.  Sigourney is a medium-sized dog, so we recommend a home with a fenced-in backyard and/or plans for daily exercise and socialization. Amazing Grace Bully Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Pensacola, Florida. We do not have a physical building. If you would like to meet any of our pups, the first step is to fill out our online application so we can contact you. Sigourney is spayed, current on shots, rabies shot, and has a registered microchip. If you would like to adopt this Amazing dog, please fill out our online adoption application at www.amazinggracebullyrescue.org If you have any questions, please text your question to 850-723-2037. You may also send a message to our Amazing Grace Bully Rescue Page on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or send an email directly to amazinggracebullyrescue@gmail.com Disclaimer: We are located in the Pensacola, Florida, area and will consider local applicants first, especially with puppies, since we use a vet in the local area.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 19, 2024, 12:44 pm

Story
This beautiful girl was found in our recent snow storm. A kind woman took her in so she was safe, warm, fed and cared for. She posted her on Facebook and had a taker right away.  Sadly she was spotted next to I-10 all on her own.  The woman went to great lengths to find her again and then reached out to us to help her find a truly good home.  She has a wonderful disposition and loves to snuggle. If her rescuer didn't already have two dogs, she would certainly keep her. Dupre is young and energetic so needs a place where she can run and play. If you are interested in adopting, please go to straylovefoundation.org and fill out an adoption application. Each of our rescues will be COMPLETELY vetted and/or updated, which includes a heartworm test, worming, spay/neutered, vaccines, and micro-chipping. We do all in our power to assure our rescues are as healthy as possible and live a long happy life. There is always a chance that an animal we have rescued will have a genetic health issue (since they are rescues there is know way that we can know their family history) or one of our tests falls in that low percentage of false negative category or a they contract a rare disease that we have no way of knowing about or they contract under your care. We cannot guarantee 100% that your pet will live the 15 to 20 years we hope for but with all that we do for them, the chances are incredibly strong that they will. Transportation fees, when applicable, vary by distance/expense. Home checks may be conducted. We are asking for adoption donation of $168. On most animals, a tax-deductible adoption donation of $168 is required upon approved adoption application. (This is a fraction of our vet expenses and you are always welcome to donate more.) HOWEVER, when we rescue a special breed, ridiculously adorable, or unusual color, we ask for a higher donation which helps towards our vet expenses. If you can't adopt, donate or sponsor, if you can't donate, volunteer! Tax deductible donations can be made via PayPal using our email address: info@straylovefoundation.org. Or you can click on the donate button on our FB page (StrayLoveFoundation Magnolia Springs) or click on the donate button on our website home page at www.straylovefoundation.org. Story
**Found Dog Turned Sweet Companion Needs Forever Home!** This beautiful brindle girl showed up at our doorstep (Perdido Key,FL/Innerarity Point Rd) on January 6th with no collar or microchip. We believe she is a Dutch Shepherd mix. Despite our best efforts to find her family, we haven't had any luck. My husband and I have happily cared for her since then, but sadly, we can no longer keep her as we already have two dogs. Her and our male beagle do not get along. She's about a year old and weighs 44 lbs. She's up-to-date on vaccines, crate and potty trained, smart, and eager to please! She is NOT fixed. This energetic pup loves to play and entertain herself, though she sometimes needs reminders about what's a toy and what's not (like shoes!). She'll need some extra leash training as she tends to pull, she is muzzled trained. We believe she'll thrive as the only dog in an adult-only home or with another working dog breed friend. Kyrie is looking for an active, loving companion!
