Story
Harry and Lloyd are some interesting boys. Harry has us a little confused on what exactly he is mixed with. He's all German Shepherd, other than the wire hair. He extremely sweet and still has some growing to do. Both boys are treat motivated and very eager to learn! They love attention and would do great with praise and toy based training. They aren't fond of the leash, but with time and training that is all fixable. Come meet our cute brothers!

Story
Ida is a 2-yr-old, sweet, playful dog with a lot of personality and spunk. She loves to be with her human and loves all people in general. She has a lot of energy so she will needs lots of walks or a fenced-in yard to run around in. She keeps all predators at bay and , for this reason, does not get along well with any other animals. She will need to be the small pet in the home. This is the reason I have to make this sad, heart-breaking decision to rehome her because she goes after my chickens and my kitten so I had to tie her up , which I don’t think is fair to her because she really needs to run. She loves hikes and stays with me without a leash as long as there are no distractions around. She chases cars so will need to be away from the road as well. She gets along GREAT with children and infants as she grew up with both of mine since they were very young. One is 3 and the other is 7mos and Ida has never been aggressive with either. even with pulled ears or tail, Ida is very gentle

Story
This is Gaia, I am having to rehome her soon due to an upcoming deployment with the army national guard. I am not exactly sure what breed she is but I think she is either a German Shepard/ Mastiff mix or a German Shepard/Bloodhound Mix. She is very playful and ALWAYS wants cuddles. I had adopted her from the Douglas County Animal Shelter. She is a very outgoing dog with lots of energy. Also be ready to brush her alot and sweep and vacuum up hair as she sheds quite a lot. Also I am not charging anything to adopt her! I just want to make sure she gets put into a loving home and not a shelter! Please reach out if you have any other questions!

Story
Parker is a female 7 month old German Shepherd mix, who came to the shelter with her sister Paisley. She is a playful girl, and loves toys, especially the squeaky ones. Plus, she has an adorable way of pouncing onto a toy if it’s a favorite! Once she is let loose in the fenced-in park, Parker prefers walking around to explore sights and scents rather than running a lot. But when she does run, she has a cute hopping run as if she is skipping along with joy! When it’s time to rest, Parker enjoys chilling out under the bench so that she can stay close to you, plus get an occasional belly rub. She also knows the Sit command, and is eager to learn more. So if you’re looking for a loyal and joyful companion, then Parker is your perfect match! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm.
