Story
Matthew is a highly intelligent Shepherd who listens very well to commands. He was brought in with his sister who already got adopted. After she left, he went through a bit of depression, but we introduced him to another female shepherd, he was back to his normal self. Mathew would do well with a family who has other dogs.My adoption fee has been sponsored by Lisa Farlow! Please call the shelter at (706) 795-2868 to schedule a meet and greet.Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter is a non-profit shelter serving over 720 square miles. We are open intake, meaning we can not turn away animals from either county we serve. Our shelter intakes double or triple it's capacity every month so it is essential we place animals quickly into adoptive homes. Since so many animals enter the shelter we often don't have enough volunteers to write an individual bio for each. Please feel free to call the shelter Wednesday-Sunday to inquire about the animal you are interested in. 706-795-2868.Viewing and adoption hours at our shelter are Wednesday through Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM. All adoption fees include age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, and spay or neuter, microchip, and adoption packet. Fees:Dogs over 6 months old: $100Puppies under 6 months: $200. Cats and Kittens are $75 ($65 without microchip). For your convenience you can fill out an adoption application for any of our current residents at www.moaspets.com.
