✨Atlas✨ 🎂 Approximate birthday: 3/17/19 🦴 Breed: Mix breed - maybe German Shepherd mix ⚖️ Weight: 💔 He has actually been at the shelter since August 27, 2024! He was actually tied to a pole outside our shelter while we were closed. He was in horrible condition but has made a full recovery 🐶 He is good with most other dogs! A meet and greet with any potential housemates will be required, however we do not allow those until AFTER we have an approved application on file 👧 He can not be in a home with children as he’s never been exposed to them and we feel it’s best for him. 🐱He is great with cats and previously lived with one. ✅ He is FULLY vetted already 🫀🪱He is heartworm negative, and we do keep him monthly preventative. 💲His adoption fee is $125 which includes includes spay/neuter, vaccinations (Rabies, parvo/distemper/lepto, and kennel cough), heartworm test (age appropriate), heartworm prevention while in our care, and microchip. 🏡 Apply to to give him a furever home through our online application https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/MKY/Dog 🪪 We require a valid drivers license for background check. 😍 We do not have any pull fees for approved rescues! Story

Rusty and his siblings came into our rescue under our Promise for Puppies Program, in which we take in the litter and fix the mother dog free and return her to the owner. This saves the puppies from being given away without any vetting on social media for free. The owner keeps the mother dog and no longer has to worry about unwanted litters. The puppies have been spay/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, put on flea/tick preventive and microchipped and ready for their new homes. These sweet pups will be fairly large dogs so please make sure you have room for them to exercise. We require a fenced in yard unless you live on rural acreage.
