You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. KODA Koda loves laying in the sun, and being outside in the afternoons with her foster mom. She is exceptional at all basic commands, listens and responds well. She does need to be the only pet in the home. She does a controlled heel and would enjoy walks but will need to be on lead. She would greatly benefit from an owner who understands the German Shepherd breed. She is very strong weighing in at 67 lbs, and is six years old. Koda is available for adoption through LSAR.org. She is a gorgeous girl and would make a wonderful companion. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is 150.00 and includes three training sessions with our trainer so that Koda and her new family can get off on the right foot together!!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 4, 2024, 8:38 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Archer has made an amazing transition from stray to city dog. He is sweet, gentle, and very mellow. Archer has great manners around the house—he uses a dog door, hardly barks, and doesn’t chew on anything but dog toys. He loves people, playing with other dogs, hiking, and snuggling in bed or on the couch (if that’s okay with you). He gets along well with indoor cats and is not skittish. Archer’s foster family is working on his obedience commands and recall. Although he currently needs a fenced yard, he is working toward being allowed off leash. Archer is around 2 years old and is a medium-sized dog and weighs about 53 lbs. He is being fostered in Missoula.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 4, 2024, 8:38 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.COURTESY LISTING Are you looking for a beautiful addition to your family? Bailey is a four year old spayed female GSD. She is a wonderful family dog with a very sweet personality and has grown up with children and other large dogs. She is a moderately active dog that is very happy to couch potato after a walk. Her one vice is that she does have a prey drive so would need to live without cats and other small animals. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Buddy is a 3 to 4 year old shepherd/lab cross. He is good with other dogs, even little dogs. We don’t know about cats though. He is friendly to both men and women, probably fine with kids but he hasn’t been around any children. He is house trained and leash trained. He doesn't pull when on a leash and stays on one side so has had some training. Buddy is neutered and microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Danny Z is the sweetest old soul you'll probably ever meet. You can tell he's not had it easy, he is timid and scared in new situations. He had completely shut down in the shelter environment and found himself in immediate risk. But he loves people and attention. He is good with cats, and small dogs, he is good with chill big dogs but does not enjoy large dogs up in his face. He is house trained, good on a leash, and crate trained although he is prooving to not enjoy crate time. He has learned to open his crate and set himself free, however he does fine when left out in the house. He is scared of the young child in the foster home but we feel he would do ok with older kids that understand the needs of timid dogs. He is neutered, microchipped and current on vaccines. At only 65 pounds right not he's pretty thin but we're confident he'll have an awesome glow up story with some time. He just needs someone to show him the love he deserves and how good a dogs life should be.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 8, 2025, 10:16 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sirius, who we have affectionately renamed/nicknamed Bear, is just that…a fluffy, cuddly teddy bear. His calm and sweet demeanor makes great company and he loves nuzzling into your lap or backing up to you so you can give him a good scratch on his behind. He is very friendly with our hyper 3 year old border collie mix and they love to play together. They’ve had some disputes over sharing toys and can get territorial with their food but other than that they’ve become good pals. We don’t have cats so we aren’t sure if he is cat friendly however he has tried to chase the cats that walk the back of our fence. Bear does good on a leash and loves going for walks and car rides. He’s confidently learned how to “sit” and we’re sure he could learn many other commands with a bit of training. He is potty trained and we only had one accident (possibly marking) at first. He was a bit nervous at first getting used to our house (fearful of the hardwood floors, doorways, and hallways) but he was brave and settled in very nicely with us. We attempted to crate train him because our current dog is but found that that brought out a lot of unneeded anxiety for him. We can trust him when we are gone from the house a few hours as he just naps on the couch until we come home. At night he is happy to sleep in bed with us or on his own in the living room. He’s a great dog that wants to make his new best friend happy and deserves the same.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 11, 2025, 10:13 pm
