This is Lenny. Lenny was found as a stray. He managed to end up on a good Samaritan's doorstep in the blazing hear of July. The good Samaritan, who took him in and not only gave him food and water but after searching for weeks for his owner, took it upon herself to get him neutered, up-to-date on shots, microchipped, and even had a few benign tumors removed before asking Rescue to take him. Lenny is probably about 8 yrs old but is a very healthy senior. He's learning to trust and also learning about boundaries. He will need an experienced family without small children. He is figuring out how to be part of a family and deserves to spend the rest of his life being loved

We found Callahan roaming the neighborhood one morning in October, he came to us but was obviously anxious and lost. We took him to the vet where they found no microchip and gave him his vaccines (he needs his boosters at the moment). After searching and posting him online for months we’ve determined that he was probably abandoned. He is the sweetest senior (about 7yo), he loves affection and attention from his caretakers but doesn’t give much heed to cats and other dogs. He still has a lot of energy and wants to be loved! He likes to spend his time napping with his soccer ball or going for walks.

Unfortunately, I have had to make the tough decision to part with one of my pups that I have been fostering. Oso is fairly new to me and is a wonderful dog! Very well mannered and friendly. He loves walks, playing and any attention in general! Oso (Spanish for "bear") is a German/Husky mix. I have had him for about 6 months. He just turned 5 years old on 06/24. Other than jumping when he gets excited, he is very well behaved (we have been working on the jumping thing)! He loves daily walks and playing fetch! He has been great with my other dog, so I assume he do well around other pets once he is used to them. He needs a lot of exercise so yard space and consistent walks are important. He loves treats and toys! Oso is really a sweet pup and I am just hoping to find him a loving home that is able to give him the attention he needs. Thank you!

Cuddle bug, protector, goofy, sweet companion. Rafiki was adopted at the NSPCA almost two years ago. He’s fully house trained, and is free to roam the whole house without any issues when people are present or not. Fiki loves to cuddle with his human, he thinks he’s a lap dog. His favorite toy is anything soft and stuffed that he can snuggle up with too! He has a lot of energy and loves free space to roam around. He loves his car rides. Lately, he has not gotten along too well with our dog that we have had for years. We have tried to untrain these behaviors but feel that it would be for Fiki’s health and happiness that we find him a home more suited to his personality. We feel that Fiki would do best in a home without any other dogs, and preferably a male owner.
