Story
IDGSR Welcomes DAKOTA into the safety of the rescue!! THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN MASSACHUSETTS ************** Hi there! My name is Dakota and I am VERY handsome. I’m a German Shepherd - Labrador mix with the beautiful black and tan Shepherd coloring but have extra cute floppy ears. I’ll be 6 years old on September 1 and I am SUPER well behaved!! No puppy nonsense with me! I’m fully housebroken and crate trained, and I know a whole bunch of words like sit, down, lay down, come, in, out, wait, no, OK, paw, eat, off, treat, drink, water, go see (what’s outside), let me see you (when mom wants to check me over), let’s go and back (that’s a hard one!). So I’m super smart, listen well and am VERY well behaved. You’re not gonna find a smarter dog than me! On top of ALL that, I’m friendly with people, dogs and even cats! Well, I’m really indifferent to the cats. I’d rather play with my people and dogs. I love to go on adventures, play tug, and go anywhere and everywhere you go. I’m very loyal and loving. So if you don’t want to deal with all that puppy nonsense and are looking for a VERY handsome gentleman who listens well, is loving and friendly to everyone, then I’m your guy!!! IDGSR Welcomes HAWK into the safety of the rescue!! THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE & AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT ************** Hiya! My name is Hawk, I'm about 2 years old, and am a handsome black and tan German Shepherd. I am located near the Greeneville, Tennessee area and am available for transport to my forever home! Here are 7 fun facts about me & my ideal home! 1. My friend & I were saved from being euthanized at a scary shelter, really, we were minutes away from being destroyed due to no fault of our own. 2. I am CAT FRIENDLY!! Nobody knows for sure, but I must have lived with cats in my previous life because I am very respectful of them. See my video for details. 3. I am HOUSE & KENNEL trained! I don't need to be in a kennel because I do pretty well being out of one. 4. I would love to have a yard to explore but it's not completely necessary. I would be okay with several walks/runs a day. 5. I am GREAT with other doggos! I'm friendly, silly, funny, goofy, affectionate, and overall just wonderful. 6. I could benefit from standard obedience training. I'm smart & will do just about anything for some yummy treats! 7. I am a goofy floppy eared love-bug.
