Story
Ricky is a truly loving and gentle soul who adores being petted and having his belly rubbed. He is a 5-6 year old handsome Shepherd mix who weighs approximately 77 lbs. Ricky is housetrained and not destructive when left at home. He loves going for walks and exploring outside. He also loves to snuggle and is calm inside the house. Ricky  is in excellent health and always greets his Foster mom with joy when she gets home. Ricky gets along with other dogs but we do not know how he would do around cats. His ideal home would be with humans who have time to spend loving him and keeping him company along with a fenced backyard.  Ricky is currently in New York City which is not an ideal living situation for a dog his size. Ricky is neutered and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. The adoption fee is $275. We require adopters to have a fully secured backyard and not electric or invisible fence which does not keep all dogs safely contained.

Story
DIAMOND IN THE RUFF: Fritz found his way to ARF after a good samaritan saw him running on the side of the road with a rusty chain around his neck. His past is unknown, but it was clear he needed help and love. Due to no fault of his own, Fritz has stranger danger. This means new people are terrifying and it can come out with fear-based aggression. Fritz is very intelligent and has been working hard with staff and volunteers. He's come so far, and we are happy to report he is meeting new people (and even dogs) and slowly learning that people aren't so bad. Once Fritz bonds to a person, it's forever. He is loyal, loving, and can be a big goofball at times, especially with his favorite toy, soccer balls! Fritz may not be your best friend right away but if you give this boy some time, he is sure to love you for the rest of his life. FRITZ'S NEEDS: Single animal home * Adult only home * Needs an experienced adopter * Needs multiple meetings before going home* Needs regular mental and physical enrichment *

Story
SAMMIE IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE HE IS ADOPTED!    "Hey there, I'm Sammie! I am a social butterfly who loves every dog I meet and really hope my future home has other pups to play with! In my foster home, my favorite times are snuggle time, playtime, and dinner time! I'm a pro at cleaning my plate. I am a bit curious about the resident kitty in my foster home, but I promise I've never been anything but polite! I'm well versed in 'sit' and adore a game of fetch. Give me a backyard, and I'll run myself into nap time. While I've got a sweet side, I've also been known to channel my inner American Ninja Warrior and take a hop over short fences. I need to be watched!   I've made many furry and human friends in my foster home, and they all seem to think I'm great! I'm working on mastering the leash and to not bark, but I am getting into the crate when asked! If you have a couch and endless love to give, I'm ready to be yours!"   He is estimated to be between 2-3 years old and 65 lbs. He is fully vetted including neuter, microchip, and all shots including rabies shot. His adoption fee of $550 includes the transport to CT. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Sammie up north after he is adopted.  To apply to adopt Sammie, go here:  http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net .    Any Questions, email us at newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com .  THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 19, 2024, 10:00 am
