Shep was abandoned when owner moved. He has been trained as a guard dog, and takes his work seriously. While he watches over everything he considers his territory, he will steal your heart! He is energetic and loves chasing birds and riding in cars. He is very well behaved but needs a fence to keep him safe. He is extremely loyal and responds to voice commands and directions attentively. He will remain at ones side and seek permission and direction to do otherwise, always returning after departure. He would keep anyone and any area secure and work for Food, hugs, and praise (added bonus kisses will result in extraordinary response time and joy)! He is too busy to be bothered by small children, they seem to irritate him (not sure about cats, but if they tease or run..probably likewise). He showed up with his favorite dog companions(or a hungry crew who figured him for a provider)so he can be social with introductions. He is housetrained. Adpt fee applys to neuter

Story

Slider is (almost) 7 years old. We have had him since he was a baby. He is a great dog but is very territorial and protective. He doesn’t do well with other dogs and being around young children. We have a two year old and are expecting our second any time now. He has never harmed her but is very uncomfortable around her. The older he gets he has gotten more intolerant of other dogs. He doesn’t get along with our lab that we have had for over three years or our neighbors dog.

Story

This is Grim. He’s crate trained, house trained, and leash trained. As shown in pics, we just use a slip lead. He’s a cuddle bug and loves to play (specifically fetch with sticks) but is also content just lounging around and being independent. He does well being left unsupervised and uncrated at home.
