Story
Meet Sybill! 6 years old and full of energy, she loves to do full body rolls and is VERY snuggly. She loves to cuddle up, give head to chest hugs, and kisses. She loves to play catch and tug-of-war. She likes being mentally stimulated with food/treat puzzles and practicing commands. She loves chest and butt scratches, head pets, and behind the ear rubs. She is a ham for photos and will give all the best poses with her paws crossed and big doe eyes. Sybill has been through different trainers over the years, but ultimately, we’ve just been not well equipped to train her well or had a good living situation for her to thrive in. All this being said, she is a wonderful dog and I believe she has the capacity to live a fulfilling, happy life! My lease is ending and I do not have the proper time to dedicate to her, and my next space doesn’t allow dogs.

Sydney is being fostered in a loving home in San Antonio, TX, where she gets along beautifully with her German Shepherd foster sister. Whether it’s a walk in the park or a weekend road trip, Sydney is always ready for the journey, making her the perfect companion for someone who enjoys exploring new places. Though Sydney is still getting used to the routines of home life, her gentle disposition and willingness to learn ensure she’ll transition seamlessly into her forever home. Story
Melbourne is a German Shepherd/Cattle Dog mix with a calm demeanor and an adventurous spirit. He is currently being fostered at an indoor/outdoor boarding facility in Seguin, TX, but he’s eagerly awaiting a foster or adoptive home where he can thrive. Melbourne is an affectionate dog who bonds deeply with his people and enjoys being part of their lives. Whether it’s joining you for a hike, exploring a new trail, or simply hanging out in the backyard, he’s always ready for an adventure. His laid-back nature makes him easy to have around, but he also has the energy and enthusiasm to keep up with an active lifestyle. Although Melbourne is friendly with other dogs, he would do best as the only dog in his home, where he can soak up all the attention. He thrives in a structured environment and would be a perfect match for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle and is looking for a loyal companion to share it with. Melbourne’s calm and adaptable nature means he can settle in easily, whether it’s a relaxed evening at home or an exciting day out. He’s looking for a family or individual who will appreciate his affectionate personality and adventurous side. If you’re ready to provide Melbourne with the loving home he deserves, he’s ready to fill your life with companionship, joy, and plenty of memorable adventures. Gracie was found on 3/8/25 at W 7th and Taylor St in Eugene. It is unknown at this time if she is spayed.**She is currently in a foster home, if you believe this is your missing dog, please contact the shelter at (541) 689-1503.** Since this dog is new to the shelter and we are still looking for their family, they are not viewable on the adoption floor at this time. The shelter staff is giving me some time to settle in and adjust to this new place. As we get to know each other a little better, the behavior team and veterinary staff will then be evaluating my needs. Please stay tuned for my updated information! Our shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs can be unreliable and for most dogs we are only guessing at their primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road, Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. My history is a mystery and staff are not sure that I know how to be appropriate with cats and small critters.Kids? I`m a big boy and may accidentally knock over little kiddos. Please bring any kids in the home to meet. 8+I`m about 1.5 years old and weigh 64 pounds.I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. Adoption Fee: $50.00Weight: 114.6 lbs.Microchip: 941010002425659Hi, my name is Aries. I am a big boy with a heart of gold, but it does take me a minute to see if we should be friends...I choose my friends wisely. I was left tied to a door at SafeHaven and after working with Linn County Animal Control, SafeHaven said I could stay, promising to help me find a new home! I am working on my leash manners, and am still learning how best to play with others. I am eager to be placed in playgroups, but can be intimidating due to my size. It`s just 114 pounds of pure love! I am always excited to meet new friends, and would love for you to be one of them; I promise to be the best boy I can. Come by to see me today!
