Story
Reese is 5 years old. She was rescued at 9 months old. She is very good around people once warmed up, but not friendly around other dogs or pets. Reese has been trained by a very reputable trainer and knows many commands / is very smart. She is crate trained and house trained. She is reactive to certain situations like someone at the front door or taking something from her mouth. Please inquire for more information. She loves to run around and even walks on a treadmill sometimes! Reese is a loving dog who has been moved around a few times and we are looking for someone to give her room to run and lots of love!

Story
Hi, I`m Kona! Pleased to meet you, friend!Kona is a 5 year old, 70 lb Shepherd mix and a shelter employee and volunteer favorite! This big girl has got personality! A lover of long walks, hikes, car rides, belly rubs, and treatos! She`ll give a paw or two for cookies. She loves everyone she meets and shes wasy on the eyes. So what`s the catch? Why do dogs like Kona get overlooked? With great personality comes quirks sometimes. For Kona, it`s resource guarding. Simply put, in the past when she has decided something is hers... she has defended her ownership of it fiercely. Whether it be high value objects or food items. That said, she has received some training to work with her resource guarding byt ut wouod need to be continued in a bew home. Her daily dog walkers speak volumes of her as being the easiest dog to walk in the entire kennel. As well as most affectionate!Because of her past resource guarding, she would do best in a low traffic home without young children or other pets. Someone who has experience with canine resource guarding or can provide training for her would be of most benefit to her in a new home. Please give Kona the chance she deserves. She`s got so much love to give and so much joy to share!

Story
Bella is a 5 year old spayed female that weighs 54 lbs. We believe she is a German Shepherd/Australian cattle dog based on her appearance and behavior. She is updated on all vaccines. She is microchipped. Housetrained. She is not ok with cats, but she is a nipper with kids and some adults, often a cattle dog behavior. Owner let her get overweight, so we are feeding her less.  If you are interested in meeting or adopting Bella please text Casey at 570-441-0083. We adopt to the general public but we also adopt to military veterans with adoption fee waived in order to provide our heroes with companion or emotional support dogs . Our other adoptable pets our posted on our website as well as the very brief (5 minutes) application form. https://rescuepetsservingvets.org. ##2154772##

Story
Archie is a 3 year old neutered male dog that weighs approximately 80lbs. We have DNA results for Archie! He is 50% German Shepherd, 30% American Bully and 13 % American Pit Bull Terrier and 7% American Bulldog! He came from California rescue. We were asked to help find him a home ! He was originally adopted as a puppy by a couple there. After having a baby for 6 months they returned him because they didn't want a big dog around the baby, even though he was fine with the baby! They returned him to the Rescue that adopted out originally. He was returned to the rescue when he was 3 years old. So we were asked to find him a good home. He has been in doggie day care with multiple dogs, but at our rescue he has not been dog friendly here. Hi energy. Good with cats and kids! Housetrained! Rides calmly in a car. Likes to play with toys! We tested him for heartworm and Tick borne diseases! All negative! He is microchipped! Bigger sized kids in a home would probably be best because of his size. Only bad issue is he is protective of his food bowl! Whether full or empty! If you are interested in meeting or adopting Archie please text Casey at 570-441-0083. We adopt to the general public but we also adopt to military veterans with adoption fee waived in order to provide our heroes with companion or emotional support dogs . Story
Heidi is wonderful, and way prettier, now that she has had a bath! Heidi is only about 7 months and 46 lbs. She is smart and friendly and everything we love about this breed. Great with dogs and cats. Prefer GSD experience and maybe a fenced yard. She is truly a wonderful puppy, who had a jerky owner, who wanted to keep her as an outside dog and did so little with her. Thank goodness he let us take her and make her a wonderful inside family companion, as she is meant to be! A must meet, for she will steal your heart for sure. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER (Pregnant Dog Rescue) is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility. We exist only on the kindness of your donations and adoptions! We pride ourselves on being an HOLISTIC center and feed only holistic foods and various vitamins and supplements to all of our dogs. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER dogs are well socialized, very friendly, and in wonderful health.  We stand by our pups/dogs, and give 10 days for a refund and almost always take our dogs back at any age of their lives (often depends on dog)! LMAC has an application screening process.  All applicants are asked to provide vet references, personal references, and a home visit.  We pride ourselves in matching up the right dog with the right home. Sometimes this happens quickly and sometimes it might take awhile. We hope you understand and are willing to wait for the perfect pup for your situation. We reserve the right to turn applicants down and to change our mind about a suitable match, for we are only concerned about what is best for our dogs.  Also note that we arrange our visiting hours around your schedule, as this is a private, in home facility.  We respond to all inquiries promptly, so if you have any trouble sending us an email, or have not heard back from us within 24 hours, please, CONTACT US AGAIN and check your spam!  (We all know how emails can be at times!) Our dogs are spayed or neutered (if old enough), up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested, and free of fleas and ticks.  We temperament test our  dogs and they are all suitable for many family situations. Our dogs are well mannered, know some basic commands, and are usually housebroken within a week of being with us (if old enough).  They are in our family/home situation at this time (not in kennels or crates, although most are crate trained) and are worked with daily.  All of our dogs do well with other dogs and many do well with cats. Adoption donations vary with age, breed, vetting, and training of the dog, and range from $250 to $695 (most being $595).  (We do not tend to place puppies or small dogs with kids under 6 and reserve the right to match who WE feel would be the best homes for our dogs.)   March 5, 2025, 1:43 pm
