Story
Patty is a friendly German Shepherd with a heart full of love and a playful spirit. She dreams of living where she play and enjoy the company of another dog pal her size. Patty thrives in the presence of other dogs and is particularly fond of Dogs her own size. Patty isn't one for hard work; she's more interested in being a loyal companion who loves to hang out and be around you. Whether she's getting in your way playfully or just lounging nearby, Patty's main goal is to be close to her family. She'd be happiest in a home with owners who can create a stable loving environment. One of Patty's favorite activities is playing in water, especially on hot days. She'd love a splash around in a lakes or river. Patty does experience separation anxiety, but with the right home and loving care, she can overcome it. She needs a family that can offer her plenty of attention, reassurance, and understanding. Her ideal home would be one where she's rarely left alone, and having another dog pal to keep her company would be a huge bonus. Patty isn't just a dog; she's a sweet soul just waiting to become a cherished member of your family. Her playful nature, love for water, and desire for companionship make her an exceptional pet. With patience and love, Patty's separation anxiety can be managed, and in return, she will give you boundless affection and devotion.

Story
Hi my name is Ace! I’m about 8 months old and around 45 pounds. I love playing ball and hanging out with my brother Jack. I love being loved and will cuddle you all day. I sleep in my kennel and I’m doing great with potty training. When you meet me, I’ll be shy at first but overtime will warm up to you. I haven’t had the best of luck with humans, so I may take my time but I’m worth it. Can’t wait to be with you for forever. I love other dogs and will need a dog friend in my forever home.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. Story
Hello my name is Rory! I am a 4 month old puppy! I currently weigh 17lbs! My foster family sent off my DNA to Embark to get a better guess at the question of what am I?! As it turns out, I am mostly a German Shepherd! That must be why I am so smart. I am very treat motivated to learn new things! I know things like “sit” and I am working diligently on “heel.” I spend most of my day playing with my favorite toys or my foster brother, Louie! If you have a dog in your home already that I could play with that would be wonderful! Once I’ve got my puppy energy out I am happy to curl up on the couch for a good snuggle session. I love meeting new people but when my foster mom takes me out at night I am on high alert! I am getting better each day at asking to go potty, soon I will be fully potty trained! I sleep in my crate at night without a peep. I’m ready to find my forever family!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Story
Meet the beautiful Juno! This girl is sweet as can be despite being found on the street with a terrible flea allergy. Her finders took her in for a month and got her back to health. She’s playful with other dogs and she plays so nicely with them big or small. She’s also good with cats and kids! She loves the water pool at the rescue and she’s very laid back being out in the main yard with the dog pack. Juno’s finders reported that she’s house trained, crate trained, and completely fine with you taking even a high value bone from. She’s the perfect family dog! Juno is about 4 years old and 62 pounds, and she looks like a German shepherd mix.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Story
WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Yogi - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Yogi is with a neighboring rescue that is having a family emergency. If you would like to adopt Yogi, we will pull him into our rescue to complete the adoption. Yogi is a handsome 8 month German Shepherd who weighs approximately 40 pounds. Yogi came to them from a rural shelter with what they thought were new leg injuries from being hit by a car. After xrays, it was determined his broken front and back leg were actually old injuries that had completely healed unfixed by his previous owners. The pain he must have been in as a young pup is heartbreaking. They did an FHO to fix his back hip, but his front leg has a definite 90 degree angle. He is not painful at all and can run and play still. The surgeons recommended for them to amputate his front leg but he he actually uses it so they said no. Yogi is extremely affectionate with people both tall and small and also with the other foster pups. Although cats are unknown at this time. Yogi is an happy active boy with a moderate energy level that still enjoys running, playing and adventures even all that he's been through. He is also housetrained so he's ready to get to all the fun stuff!! This incredible boy is ready for a loving family of his very own. One with kind words, gentle pets and some fun filled adventures...could it possibly be with YOU?!!!
