Meet Hank (Formerly William, But I Prefer Hank, Thanks)Hey there, I’m Hank! You might remember me as William from the American litter last fall. Yeah… turns out, my first home wasn’t quite the right fit. I tried my best, but sometimes things just don’t work out. So here I am, back on the market, a little wiser, a little more experienced, and still hoping for that perfect match.Why I’m an Absolute Catch:✔️ Crate trained – My crate is my cozy retreat. Think of it as my personal man cave.✔️ House trained – I ring a doorbell like a fancy gentleman when I need to go out. If I’m in my crate, I’ll politely whine instead of making bad decisions.✔️ Road trip ready – I ride like a dream in the car, so let’s go places!✔️ Snack connoisseur – I take treats gently, no chompers here.✔️ Certified snuggle enthusiast – I live for scritches and couch time.✔️ Educated – I attended puppy classes and learned all the good stuff: Sit, Sit-Stay, Down, Off, Come (inside only, let’s be honest), and how to walk politely on a leash. The staff here even have my training book to show all the things I've worked on!✔️ Low to moderate energy – If you like binge-watching TV, I’m happy to be your couch buddy.✔️ Can live with cats – With proper introductions, of course. No sneak attacks, please.✔️ Good for nail trims – I tolerate them like a champ.A Few... Ahem, "Hank Quirks"❌ I need my sleep. If you mess with my bedtime (around 9 p.m.), I get cranky. A well-rested Hank is a happy Hank.❌ Kids? Meh. They’re unpredictable, and I’d rather not. Older, dog-savvy kids might be okay, though.❌ Sharing? Not my favorite. I’ve been known to guard toys from people and chews from dogs. If my forever home has kids or other pets, I need a big crate where I can enjoy my stuff in peace. If there are other dogs, a crate-and-rotate setup is recommended for the first few months.❌ Other dogs? I’m picky. If they stare at me too much, I take it personally.❌ Freedom? I can’t have much. I need to stay on-leash or in a fenced yard—no solo adventures for me.❌ Houseplants? Fascinating. Delicious-looking.
