Story
Go Gunner go! We are so proud of our warrior puppy Gunner. Almost two months ago we took in a young German Shorthaired Pointer who'd been hit by a car and was critically injured. Over the last 8 weeks Gunner has received ALL of the best medical care we could provide, largely thanks to your generous donations. While he is still far from back to normal, and quite honestly may never quite make it back to normal, he has made incredible progress. He is a fighter and at no time has he let his situation get his spirits down. In true GSP fashion, he is ready to GO GO GO! He absolutely adores his foster family, especially his GSP foster sister, and he really is just the sweetest, happiest pup ever. His foster momma has started swim therapy with him, which he's done SO well with, and we will be starting him on a physical therapy regimen soon as well. Gunner puppy is not yet ready to leave our care, but we would be happy to start reviewing applications for families interested in adding him to their pack when he's ready. He absolutely needs a family who has experience with GSP's, Weims, Vizslas or other similar high energy breeds. Gunner is fostered in Sarasota, Florida. Story
Where are all of our Pointer lovers at?! This pair is a DREAM! We know our L4P family loves 'em! We'd like to introduce Ace and Pepper, a bonded pair of German Shorthaired Pointers. Ace is the liver roan male and is 9 years old, while Pepper is the black roan female and is 8 years old. Ace and Pepper were a breeder pair and they were surrendered to us by the breeder where they'd lived their whole lives outside - and big surprise they were BOTH Heartworm positive. They have both successfully kicked Heartworm disease's butt and are healthy and ready to find their new home together! Ace and Pepper have been together all of Pepper's life and they really do adore each other and need to stay together. They are the best of friends, following each other around constantly and finding comfort in each other. Given their senior age, they are well matured beyond the wild, crazy GSP puppy stage. They do still have plenty of energy to be active and have fun, but they also appreciate the finer things in life like being lazy with their people. They get along with all dogs, however small animals are not going to work with them. They are GSP's after all, and their age has not tempered their prey drive. Ace is neutered and Pepper is spayed, and they're both microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and best of all HEARTWORM NEGATIVE! They are fostered in the Tampa, Florida area and their adoption fee together is $300. If you are interested in adding this beautiful pair to your family, please complete an adoption application at the link below or email us at info@love4pawsfl.org for more information! https://www.love4pawsfl.org/adoption-process

AVAILABLE FOR PRE ADOPT - AVAILABLE END OF JUNE These puppies were found abandoned in a rural area. After treating for fleas, and a few good meals, quickly became playful, loving little pups. We don't know what exact breed they are, but guesstimate their adult size to be 20-30 pounds. Apply now and take them home once fixed and vaccinated!
