Story
Rozy, formerly know as Blaire from The BB Litter, is the sweetest pup. She is great with kids, cats, and other dogs. She is very affectionate, loves to give hugs, cuddles, and kisses. She is a great car rider. Good on a leash, house and crate trained (although she'd much rather sleep in your bed haha). She loves to run and play but is just as happy to cuddle up on the couch with her human. She is spayed and up to date on all of her shots. ##1382188##

Story
Willing to negotiate neutering prior to adoption . Cooper was a lost or abandoned puppy. I attempted to find owner or a forever home. He has been with us for 3-4 months. He is pretty smart and learns when time spent with him. He’s been shy since I first found him but once he knows you he’s very loving. Super playful, but “sleeps thru the night” :) He’s a great size. At 30lbs they don’t think he’ll grow much more. Due to my situation I’m not able to make a long term commitment to a second (and very young dog)

Story
Ripley is such a sweetheart with his friendly personality and playful nature. He absolutely loves being around people, even kids, and he’s ready for his forever home! One thing to know about Ripley is that he has tons of energy! You could say he’s got the spirit of a triathlete, which means he’ll need a decent amount of good exercise each day to keep him happy and healthy. While he was originally bred for hunting, you don’t have to go on hunts to give him joy. Active families will adore having Ripley around since he’s always up for fun adventures like runs, hikes, and even bike rides. He’ll be your loyal companion, trotting happily alongside you on any long hike or run you can manage. Plus, his smarts and athleticism make him a fantastic candidate for agility training! Ripley loves to learn and has a strong desire to have a purpose, so he’s usually very open to picking up new tricks and skills throughout his life. Just remember, consistency is key, and he responds best when you are a firm and confident leader. While Ripley is wonderful with humans and other dogs, he’s not exactly a fan of cats. Overall, though, he’s a delightful companion ready to fill your life with joy and adventure! Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Puppies - We do not adopt puppies under 16 weeks to out of state adopters. This is due to our spay/neuter policy, and all dogs must be spayed/neutered before leaving Georgia state lines. We do not adopt siblings to the same household. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.
