Story
Zuri is 3 years old and full of energy. She knows basic commands like sit, down and stay but she could use more training as I didn’t do a lot of training with her. She is potty trained and hasn’t had an accident in the house in years. I take her to the dog park in Indianapolis so she has played with all kinds of dogs. She doesn’t do well with cats or small animals like hamsters. She loves children but has a tendency to play with them a little too rough sometimes. I’ve had Zuri since she was two month old and she’s a sweetie pie. She also LOVES people and is very friendly. She does require to be crated when left alone. She loves dirty shoes and socks but she hasn’t tore up a shoe in quite some time. She is up to date on her vaccinations and I have all her veterinary visit history for the last three years.

Story
Meet Atlas! This guy ended up with Helping Paws after not adjusting well to life with the addition of a baby to the family. He is a very sweet and sensitive boy and can get easily spooked by kiddos that move too quickly. But he is currently in a foster home with older children and is doing great! He also came to us very nervous of men, but has gotten MUCH better since first arriving and gaining more confidence. He has the best tail wag where all of his butt wiggles and it will melt anyone's heart! Atlas knows a lot of commands and is pretty good listener since all he wants to do his please his people :) He is housetrained and crate trained as well. He does ok in car, but it isn't his favorite thing. He also is doing well working on his leash training. Atlas needs a little bit to warm up to new dogs (again, it's just a lack of confidence with him), but once he does, he loves to run and play! He has become the resident puppy babysitter in his foster home and loves to run around with a toy so the puppies chase him! He can sometimes guard his toys with other animals, but we are working on correcting that as well and he's doing great. He did live with cats previously and currently has cats in his foster home, although he sometimes gets a little too interested in them so a dog savvy cat or no cats would probably best. Atlas' adoption fee is $250 and he comes vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He is also heartworm negative and is current on heartworm and flea/tick prevention.
